How to advertise in Ad Mag

Well, to tell you the truth, advertising in Ad Mag couldnt be easier! All
you have to do is load up your favourite text editor (e.g. CEd) and type it
up in pure ASCII. Keep to the boundaries of 80 across X 20 down and you
cant go wrong. DO NOT PUT IN ANY ANSI/CLI CODES, AS AD MAG DOESNT SUPPORT
THEM!!! (Although it will in a future edition!)
Ad Mag is an Adverts only minizine. Therefore, the people reading it will
only be reading it to get new contacts or to buy something etc. It is the
only magazine in the UK that is adverts only! So if you want to sell/buy
something or just want a few new contacts, then Ad Mag is for you!!!
Send all your textfiles for inclusion in Ad Mag Issue 2 to one of the
addresses shown in the editorial (Page 01).
Remember: Ad Mag can only survive with your support, so please get writing
those adverts etc. ADDITIONAL BONUS: Adverts are FREE!

Somebody has done a nasty slag intro about Tantalus of DESTINY.
There have been some nasty rumours about Pazza of LSD. Firstly, he has NOT
been sent to prison for 8 months. Secondly, he has -NOT- been fined 5000
pounds by F.A.S.T. And lastly, 5 members of his group have -NOT- been
busted.
Why start spreading rumours? They just cause trouble for everyone.
POD Ex. Nemesis has left the Amiga scene to go onto the Super Nintendo
Scene. If you are interested in swapping the latest warez on the Famicom,

This article is dedicated to all the dickheads who make it easier for B.T.
and other companies to find out where they stand with phreaking and piracy.
We have all seen it,a company thinks they have a new fullproof answer to
something E.G.copying..someone goes and finds a way around the solution,it
gets out and more and more people find out about it,and eventually some ass
-hole has to go and send something to the media showing the whole thing on
display to the world,and two days later it doesn`t work,because the company
involved put all their resources into getting the problem stuffed out.
A good example of this was when some idiot went to The Sun,and showed
them the trick with the coat hanger to prevent the money from going into
the collection box.A very crude method but a good one nonetheless.It worked
for a few days after and then it all stopped because B.T. put all the man-
power they could into getting the problem sorted out.This method can still
be done on a slight variation,sometimes it works,sometimes it doesn`t,but
it is still there,but I am not putting it on display for the world.
Another example of this loud mouthed attitude was the DONGLE switch that
was packaged with each copy of Robocop3.This worked by being put into the

other joystick port before loading,and according to Ocean,the dongle made
the game virtually impossible to copy,and it would have taken a cracker
many weeks to crack just one level of the dongle,and there were 1000s
of levels on the dongle.So of course,some guy sat down,cracked it and put
it on the boards.It went down through the usual levels,right down to the
lamers at the bottom,who contribute nothing to the scene and make a
killing by selling copies.One of these brightsparks decided to be the
lad,and let Amiga Format have a copy as well,hence they told Ocean and
now Ocean are starting to give up on disk format.So what would have the
outcome if Arsehole had kept his hole shut? Well the chances are that
Ocean would have been none the wiser and might still be packing Dongles
with all their games,thinking that they were doing the trick,and not even
thinking of ploughing 1000s of pounds into C.D. research,at least not for
a few years yet.Other companies would probably have followed suit and pack
aged the switches as well.Crackers would be happy as they would have found
a bit of a challenge and it would have kept them intrested,and we would
all be much happier generally.So in future,if you are going to spout off
something to the press,don`t! You are not doing anyone any favours at all!

It started with a joke , as a lot of things started with
jokes so did our group. About half a year ago Dan,Nuke and I
had a joke idea to use a logo by Walt/Melon Dezign. But instead
of Melon.. I changed it to Lemon and added a little lemon
at the bottom... After various chats and ideas we named

is believing'. My plan were to anounce this trio-form in
Legalize it...2 but Dan had other plans with our trio-name.
Then after PARTY II I received a letter from Hannibal. We talked about
leaving Anarchy at the party.About the letter... Hannibal suggested
to form a new team together with me Dan,Nuke and Paradoid..
We agreed with the new group.. and we see the situation like this
now... Dan,Nuke and I formed LEMON. Paradroid,Hannibal,Madfreak and
J.A.D,E (Slash) joined in... We disconnected our group from Anarchy

and got some more new members WE liked to have in our team..
Result: LEMON.
All you out there must notice that we are not trying to make
fun of MELON DEZIGN. I (and a lot of other Lemon. members) adore
Melon dezign .. So we are NOT trying to start any war here! To let
our name sound (and look) weird we decided to put a point behind
our name... so you pronounce LEMON. as :'Lemon point'
And a Lemon is quite different to a Melon. They even taste different.

Well, here we are, the end of issue 1 of Ad-Mag from CHAOS. We hope that
you have enjoyed reading this mag, as much as we have enjoyed making it. We
apologise for the mega delay for when this was meant to be released, but due
to a lot of the production members going on holiday as well as Speed (the
other editor) having a lot of college work, it was delayed and I couldn't
expect him to put Ad-Mag before his future, now could I?
The next issue will (should!) have a lot more features, and it will also
look a lot nicer. I would like to thank all the people who submitted news,
adverts, and support towards this issue as we couldn't even guarentee that
they would even be used. Cheers guyz! Without you this issue wouldn't be
possible.
I will end this page here, as I've still got to arrange the spreading
of it. Hmmm... better assemble it first... hehe.. Well, get your text
