thought. right after john lost the thought of her not beeing |
home door opened. how can i help you? asked some wrinkled old lady. |
john was confused again and didn't get a word out of his mouth. few |
seconds of silence. are you deaf, i asked you; how can i help you? |
the old lady started to look angry. oh, does Jane live here? he |
asked. the lovely young girl who sold me this flat, i suppose. you |
mean? yes, Jane it was as I recall. she said and gave a little |
smile with no teeth in her mouth. jane moved?? yes, i've lived here |
for a week now. i think she got a nice job somewhere else, i think... |
old woman said. ofcourse i'm not sure. it's just my memory, when |
you'll get older you'll know, she continued. and you don't have |
anykind of clue where she moved what so ever? he said. no, she didn't |
mention nothing about it, she said. well, thank you for your time, |
i really have to be get going, john said to get ridd of that old |
granny. he felt that old lady could be speaking for hours. she was |
kind of babbling type of old lady, john thought. well that didn't do |
