There are many doors out for Ami-Express.
And whenever there will be Computers, there will always be some guys
programming VIRUSES and TROJAN HORSES.
It`s getting more guys, telling me their Hard Disk was formatted by
some kind of doors or there BBS was hacked because of a backdoor in
a /X Door. Because of this I`m writing this, to tell you the Doors
that are known by me and that have a backdoor or are trojan horses...
Of course the listed ones are not all. There are lots of other Doors
you shouldn`t use!
So, take care and don`t forget to Register /X !

First of all there are several Ami-Express versions that are NOT released
by the /X Development Team!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
For example, there are two versions of Ami-Express V1.x:
Ami-Express Version 1.q+ is a very hard one.
- It first replaces your SYS:C/DIR command by a Virus that deletes
everything in BBS:Node0/ and in BBS:Node1/ etc. up to NODE9/
- I don`t know who has done this but it should be done somewhere in
the Netherlands or in France.

Ami-Express Version 1.x (I do not know which version!) has a BACKDOOR!
There are some files out with wich you can correct it.

Ami-Express Version 2.32beta has also a BACKDOOR! If you install a Remote
Shell, in some versions it could be able that EVERY user can change
accounts with the Command to change accounts!
Please check if you have this version installed and if so, you should
not install a remote shell!

Some weeks ago, the sourcecode of AMI-EXPRESS VERSION 3.0 was released!
It looks like some guys have modified the code and released a Version 3.4b!
>> DO NOT INSTALL THIS VERSION! IF YOU DO SO, IT`S AT YOUR OWN RISK! <<
I still don`t know if this version HAS bugs/backdoors/etc. but if it is so
and you find out, please inform me!

Some guys also have "done" a Version 3.3+, but this version is only a
version 3.0 with changed version numbers.

- DON`T INSTALL MOST-WANTED-FILES Vx.x !!! THIS WILL DELETE ALL YOUR USER

- DON`T INSTALL USERS-BULLETIN V1.0 - V1.33 ! THIS WILL CHANGE SOME DATA
IN ACP.STARTUP.
- DON`T USE THE CALLERS? DOOR. THIS IS A DOOR THAT SHOWS OTHER CALLERS.
IT IS A TROJAN HORSE!
- DON`T INSTALL BBSLISTER V1.4 ! IT IS NOT WRITTEN BY THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR!
SOMEONE ELSE HAS DONE IT! I DON`T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT DOES!
- DON`T INSTALL A WALL DOOR OF THESE:
-MEGAFUN`S WALL
-FREAKIES WALL
-ANTILAME WALL
THEY ARE ALL THE SAME.
EVERY WILL DELETE YOU SYS:S/STARTUP-SEQUENCE
