Hi folks ... Okay ... I did this small thing, because I`m sick of all these
guys asking me about /X ...
It`s a short run-through for new Users ... Okay ... Let`s start with the most
popular questions:
-> HOW DO I HANDLE FILES ? <-
Very simple: Just type [32mN[0m ... You`ll get then asked for a date to
start ... That is the date from when you want to see the new files ...
The date have to be in this structure: MM-DD-YY (MONTH-DAY-YEAR) ... Then
you wil get asked about the directory to search ... Normaly it is the Upload
directory so type [32mU[0m ... You will then get a complete file list from
the date you have selected on ....
If you just want to see the new files since your last call, type [32mN S U[0m ...
If you have found the file of your choise, type [32mD[0m after viewing the
file dir ...
You`ll get then asked for a FILESPEC .. Enter then the first Characters of
the file and end with an [32m*[0m ...
You`ll get then asked for FILESPEC(2): ... If you want to download a 2nd
file do the same as I said above ... If not simply press return ...
[1A[KYou`ll get then asked for the way to Download .. If you simply press return,
the download will be started normaly ... If you`ll press G there will be an
AUTO-LOGOFF after the transfer ...
Okay .. that are the most important things for DOWNLOAD
If you wanna to do an upload (COOOOOOL) just went into the conference of your
choice and start an UPLOAD in your terminal when you see the PROMPT .. That
is the most easy way to start it ... Also you can type [32mU[0m ...
Then you`ll get asked for FILESPEC(1) ... Just press RETURN TWICE ... Then
the Upload will be started ... after transfer you have to enter an description
and the BBS will check the file ...
These are the most asked questions about an FILE AREA ...

Now to the most important feature of /X ... The OPERATOR PAGE !!! If you
want to have a LIVE chat, LIVE to your SysOp and LIVE on the line, then
Press [32mO[0m and hope for a good time .. Your stoned Operator will then
chat to you or otherwise kick you ...
Don`t worry about, it just means that you have to do sum more uploads ...
IF you have the possibilety to chat, follow this rules:
- Never call ya Sys LAMER !!!
- Never nerv him with SCENE FACTS that are 2 years old (BJOERN)
- Ever give him a beer and he will be satisfied !
- Do not ask about /X things (Therefore I typed this BULLSHIT ...)
- [37mNEVER[0m ask about DISABLED !!!
Otherwise your ACCESS will be deleted SOON!!!

Another very important thing is, never to upload shit !!! That`s one of the
most hated things in the modem scene !!! So watch carefully what you do upload.
