This is a direct transcript from a B.T. Internal Post to all telex machines sent to
EVERY exchange in the U.K. Directly printed on Bt headed paper and is official.
Dated April 22/04/94 origin int.sc.er. Bt. Securities. ext Sheff 6780.
After monitoring int.ext for a period of 3 weeks it has come to the attention of
int.scr that large widescale fraud of int.scr monitors is occurring. We therefore are
issusing a fix in place for all int.scr exchanges to be brought offline to wideband
signal differences. Several points are here to be noticed.
1. We are having frequent calls from overseas monitors who inform us of large
callback exchess on branches 890 and 899. Calls are being placed on overseas
monitors and being routed back to u.k numbers. A fix in place follows.
2. Large calls are being placed on ccit5 monitor exchanges. Period bills for
monitors have exceeded prevbious line rental cost usage.
3. A monitor of interal.scr exchanges showed up wide usage of 10 routes and 1011
this is to be assumed calls of an unbilled nature. A fix in place follows.
4. Int.scr monitors are to be tested for all drop back frequencies and all findings
will be reported to all ext.scr exchanges for fix in place modifications.
All signal equipment or int.scr parameters is now to be switched to wideband route
4 recognition. Enable all exchange non.ack to goto non recognition aquisation.
All drop back recognition equipment will be fixed from Sheffiled and exchange
update will be made by 9.00 am 22/04/94. This fix in place will be monitored.
All calls threfore to unused or less call numbers will be monitored and excess usage
will result in recog 4 int.scr being brought into play online. This will be totally
automatic from Sheffield.
So there you go the wankers who where calling back to the UK and saying look at
me arent i clever in what I can do. I can box to the uk you really killed it for us all
. If and when boxing ever comes back do not ever use it to call back to the uk
with. This is treading on bt toes and when they really get pissed. You assholes
fucked it up for yourselves and have only yourselves to blame for this dying..
