Introduction!
It's only me Firestarter who writing a small news for you, who concerning
about me and my plans for future. I have been very active in trading as u
might know, always send you some stuff when i got what u have. The reason
i wrote this mail is for i have a very bad news for you, my plans now is
to leave the scene for good. I will sure be on the net sometimes, but for
the scene im out. I leave my good group IRIS now and i will thanks all my
ppl in the scene who have been in touch with me. The reason i leave the
scene is i have been damn tired of the whole thing. Amiga, scene, trading
and the stuff i did in Amiga. In my own words i dont think i belongs here
anymore. :/
Let me have a story about me and the scene!
My name is Raymond Hedum and i live in Moss/Norway, who have 26.000 ppl
in the city. Im 22 years old and turning to 23 soon. My town lying 6miles
outside Oslo, and i started early with the computer things. I started
with computers when i was 11 years old of age, my first computer was a C-
64 i play lotsa games with, u know the good old classix we used to play.
I have my C-64 for 11 years till i sold it. The c64 was so booring so i
saved up some money for A-500 1MB RAM, and i was totally freaked out so i
started to some swapping. I had many friends with amiga so i get games
everyday almost, so i start collect many games and was a game lamer like u
have sure been. The swapping was the biggest and coolest thing i knew in
Amiga those days, so i swapped like hell and got many new friends world-
wide. Swapping was very big in early 90's so i swapped like hell, and the
swapping is more and more out u see. My A-500 was kinda slow so i saw the
new A-1200 in early 90's and decided to buy a new Amiga instead. In the
commercial of it, who says it was twice faster as A-500 so that was big 4
me then. I bought the A1200 and i feel so fucking proud, and tried games
who used the AGA Chipset. The games had much better colors and graphics
than A-500, so i still swapped on my A-1200 to get many new games with AGA
then. It was a new world who impressed me much, so i really liked the kewl
and great games. The best game ever is for me "Monkey Island 2". That game
is noaga for sure, but i really love the story with in it. I played it
night and day to get through it, so i decided to join some group instead
so this groups have i been in during the years.....
Hemoraiders - A small norwegian group, who was ment for lamers like i was!
Instinct - A bigger norwegian group, who was socalled "swappercrew" and
we released some prods after all like. Intros, demos, packs
and mags. The whole group was changed into more productive
and changed the name to "Mantra". There was many plans for
new group, but it died after half year due inactivity. :/
Mantra - The group who least only a half year, we had many plans but
the skilled members who gave a damn, and Punisher the orga-
nizer split up the group. I decided to leave them since i
know what will happen, DEAD!!!
Phase truce - A polish demo crew, who have been very active at the polish
parties lately. The communication was so bad in the group so
i deicided to leave, i had only contact with only one person
so i felt quite outside. :/ The positive thing was their new
and kewl releases like demos, intros and stuff. The group
had many rumours about fake releases who was spreaded on bbs
by me. The whole shit was fake, and some weirdo spreaded kid
sex under my name and named it under PHT. I told the whole
truth on IRC #Amielite, so i could live without a bad rumour
on the net. I got so many messys that day so i really get so
fucking mad, and some person could abuse my name so bad is
impossible to believe. U'see the net is full of psychotic
persons, so that is one of the reason i shall leave scene.
Iris - The only place i feel as a real member for sure, all in the
whole group is fucking friendly. This ppl i call real kool
friends for sure, this is a real scene team could i mention.
Iris is the most friendly group ever, and we are kinda old-
schoolers u might see on our productions. Oldschool rocks,
and we know all about it. :) If you need a kewl group to
join, so IRIS is open for suggestions. :)
That was something about my groups and stuff, i have taken a very import-
ant choice now. I have no greetz in order here now, but i will atleast
send hellos to this kewl persons: darkhawk/iris, mj/iris, punisher/apathy
saint/resistance, tc/digital corruption, case/faith, eddy/resistance, zol-
trix/digital corruption, haze/absurd "good luck in army, hope to see ya
soon again" :), strife/apathy, tft/rave network overscan, evan/nah kolor
and rest of the guys who are still hangin on #Amielite and #Amigascne. I
will be on the channels with "fIRE" or similar as a nick. You guys will
from now on dont see me much here anymore, i will start a new life now and
school start about a week too. I go into the plumber buiness then, so i
start my work as a handworker after one year left at school. I have been a
net lunatic u see, many times a week im on the net for sure. My plans now
is to complete the last year of school, starting at a gym to do some prac-
tice on body, recontact my old friends in real life and start over. Im too
tired of the scene, it makes me unhappy and bored so i dont know why im
still on net... maybe a bit netaddicted... who knows.. now i tired, so you
guys please dont let the amiga be your life. REAL LIFE ROCKS! Im a 22 year
old guy who is tired, hope you understand me.... sorry for my lame english
and see you soon in real life or similar.. mizz u all! take care my dear
friends, do something with your life, choose life. :)
