Warning To All United State's Console BBS Sysops , For Fear of Losing
my job I will not be releasing my name. I work at Nintendo of America's
illegal Department. Nintendo of America in conjunction with AT&T -
(American Telephone & Telegraph) are surveilancing numerous bulletin board
systems, that have had calls placed to with Stolen AT&T calling cards ,
these bulletin boards consist mainly of Console and MS-Dos pirated software.
This has been going on since a new law which has been passed by Congress
allows the right to a software company to take action against persons
which operate Bulletin Board Systems that allow the use of transferring
illegal duplicates of copyrighted Materials. Nintendo Of America are
only interested in Bulletin Boards in which consist of 50 or more Nintendo
Copyrighted Software. Due to a several formal complaints from anonymous
persons, Nintendo of America has gotten a hold of many Bulletin Board Nnmbers,
and numbers of persons who sell illegal console back-up units. Nintendo,
which has been highly active in stopping software piracy, have been monitoring
many other bbs' prior to these complaints. You might have heard a person
from Nintendo who was involved with the underground pirate bulletin boards.
There are many more persons who are and who will be getting fully active
in stopping these console pirates. These hidden "Pirates" may or may not
be on your local bulletin board systems now. You will not know if these people
work with Nintendo or are a "normal User". Two of these "Pirates" Are involved
with console pirating groups, I will not say which because I am one of a
handfull of persons who know this to be a fact, and this may leak my
identity. Begining this summer Nintendo of America will initiate their
"Take-Down" program. Nintendo of America will act with the United States
Secret Service to allow entrance into homes for legal search and seizure
of copyrighted software and non-approved FCC Console to Disk Backup Units,
Class action Suits will be filed this fall. A new list of Bulletin Boards
has been drawn up , of which I can not disclose to you , but I will
release a list of a previously known Bulletin Board Systems
and System Operators:

* Means that these bulletin Boards are most likely, if not definatly, to
be prosecuted as they have more than enough evidence to show that the sysop
has allowed the use of illegal distrubition of copyrighted software. As a
follow up, American Telephone & Telegraph will also be filing criminal law
suits against persons who have had hundreds of illegal telephone calls
placed to. This suite will closly follow Nintendo of America's Criminal
Law Suit against System Operators. AT&T will be wanting the System Operators
to pay for these illegal calls as they acknowlege the use of illegal calling
cards. Some of which are expected to pay as high as $110,000! Please
take me seriously as I do know this WILL be happening. This is a warning
to stop your actions now or face the them in a court of law.
