Well, Yet another board has gone done and a good man with it unfortunately.
Yes Manic has been busted big style. After speaking to him earlier, he told
me what happened and it wasn't good.
The morning of 6/8/95 .Trading Standards along with 11 other people
from various organisations caught up with him at a car boot sale and promptly
confiscated his stall and contents. ELSPA and FAST were also mentioned during
the proceedings.
The police then took him to the cop shop, and from there they obtained
a warrant to search his house. From then they confiscated his brand new
4000/040, 3 1200's, 2 500's, 2 Nicam TV's, videos, satellite system, Satellite
Interface cards, Cellular phones, All his BBS material has gone.
This includes his Erotica Conf., all the H/P, warez etc., all the
paperwork he had in his house, with various details on them.
So he asks for Every board he was on , to delete his account
*** IMMEDIATELY ***, as His NComm phonebook has his logon and
Password in it.
Other Texts will soon be made available, from Rocky
(if its not yet here!) and from Manic himself.
So, All I can say, is that he was too nice a bloke for this to happen to.
