This file typed by Daffy Duck for Daemon Child & Mr Dalvin and was dictated
by Daemon Child whilst his parents freaked out in the background.
MR DALVIN WAS BUSTED TODAY (5th September 1995)
===============================================
About 5pm Mr Dalvin and Acheron BBS sysop Daemon Child were sitting having
a chat when someone knocked on the door. Armed with a search warrant, four
peeps entered, 2 DCs from Newcastle CID, one DC from Herts CID and a BT
investigator (suspiciously fat looking but not John Loader!!). They asked
Dalvin who had been using the CCs on AT&T and ask Dalvin admitted it to
save Daemon Child from the hassle they then arrested him on the spot. They
were asking for the credit card source that Dalvin was using to call inter-
-national. Dalvin pointed to Daemon's Amiga and said "There, in there".
Newcastle CID dudes took Dalvin to his room and searched. Daemon Child, the
Herts CID DC & BT bod went to his room for the BBS setup and all his 2000-
3000 disks (PD of course!!). Kindly they left his music studio equipment.
Dalvin is currently as I type being interviewed at Hemal Hempstead police
station. They are taking a CDRom copy of the 3 gigs of the BBS HDs and are
likely to return the equipment later (they hope).
In the meantime, wait for more info but don't call Acheron. It's down (I
suspect for good - DAMN I had 300Mb up there of quality PD). I'd stress
for all of you that this was *NOT* the work of THE GREAT FAT ONE, John
Loader of ELSPA but no doubt he will be having a chuckle and his folds of
flab will reverberate to this laughter.
I'm sure we all wish Dalvin luck with his situation. I suggest people take
appropriate action if they are concerned i.e. stop using CCs on AT&T etc.
