Today I, NEiL, was visited by the cops. They only found 5 games, which I
stated, was bought from a dude and I didn't have his adress. But if I should
find the adress I will surely hand it over to the cops. (Sten A./D-lam hmm?)
The LAMER who turned me in, is married to a cop. That's how they found my
adress etc. That means, I do know who he is, but I don't want anyone to kill
the sucker. Maybe later....
The case is: This summer, in June a dude calls me up (I was at that time wat-
ching a friends phone) asking if he could buy some software.
"Sure" I say.... Well... what I didn't knew was, my friend is involved in
some other business. So we agreed upon him bying 10 disk for 200 dkr + 39 p&p.
He receives the stuff and calls me up complaining about it was pirated games
HOW STUPID CAN HE BE???? Well... the guy asks to get his money back and I
return the $$... But the bastard turns me in anyway for fraud. But afterwards
he even told the cops that he had recieved my $$ so technically there is NO
FRAUD case. Just the case of having 5 pirated games + selling 2 games.
There is NO prove that I have copied the games. There is NO prove I've sold
more than the 10 disk stated.
One very important detail is the games ARE NOT for sale in Denmark which I
stated (and the cop agreed) cuould not be used against me in a trial about
copyright. I am ONLY busted for selling 2 games, Gunship 2000 and Super Frog.
So the evidence against me consist of 7 games. And it has nothing to do with
any company- or groupactivity whatsover.
Actually the cop was a very nice person. He seemed to be more interested in
my higly advanced interior lightsystem than in the computer... Well actually
the dude had never heard of an Amiga so I doubt they will get any of the 5
confiscated games to work on their PC-shit-no-good-computer.
So... I'm still the fastest and coolest dude in little Denmark so no worries;
Plastic Passion will still the fastest board in DK which you can call on

Any news in this case will be there FIRST. But I don't expect to hear any-
thing for the first 2-4 weeks.
Well that was all. The cops didn't take away any equipment, they just wrote
down the serialnumbers etc. No adresses, no nothing.
Then he told me about another case in which computer and modems were used
(Bamses BBS, children porn)
After 30 minutes he left my house. Maybe they'll do something about it,
maybe not... It has nothing to do with the scene. Actually I could have been
selling cars or lawn movers. NO big deal this time.

OKI... the interesting part of all this is:
They did take the case... For only 239 dkr = 35$ = 54 DM

So it means NOBODY can be safe!. But: I have been EXTREMELY lucky.
Next time they bust somebody in DK, they might be a little better prepared.
