!!! THE TRUTH ABOUT DUPLO AND THIER GREEDY EX.LEADER CONFIDENCE !!!
This is an open letter to Confidence/Balance. But I also advice the rest
of you to read it all through. As you might get a whole lot of facts about
Confidence and his (and my) former group duplo.
Ok, I just wanted you all to know that DUPLO is dead, and that the group
probably never will exist again. The reason why is quite simple. Our dear
"so-called" leader got an offer from an other group, and accepted it right
away. He didn't leave DUPLO as one might expect when somebody wants to go
to another group. He shut down the whole group and didn't seem to care
anything about if his "former" friends wanted to go on with the group or not.
He, who always talked about how important friendship in the group was, has now
left his friends and joined a new group (Balance), simply just to be mentioned
in thier memberlist. I don't really know, but maybe he thinks that he'll gain
some kind of "fame" in the scene just becouse he's a member of BALANCE.
I actually think that he will. But he will sure not be respected for what he
have done. He's just trying to gain fame on something other great sceners
have created before. ( e.g Balance is and have always been a great group... )
I must admitt that I somehow thought it was the friendship that made me and
CONFIDENCE spend our holidays and weekends together, planning and making
some scene productions. Now I start to realize that he probably never thought
of things like I did. It seems like he always just wanted to be a well-known
scener, and that he never cared of friendship and silly things like that.
Now when I start thinking back, I remember how he just kicked one of our
gfx'ers (SPOT) without speaking to everyone else in the group. CONFIDENCE
just told me that he didn't like spots gfx, and that he was kicked. He didn't
seem to care anything about that SPOT was one great friend to all of us. All
he ever cared of was that he would get his demos perfect. It's a pity that
he didn't even make it with that one. Our demos have actually never been
any good, even if CONFIDENCE have kicked/lost friends to make it.
As I've got very tired of greedy ex-friends who just seem to care about
oneself, I most probably leave the scene right now. To all my real friends
I just want to say : You've got my adress... just drop me a line !!!
And I really hope that CONFIDENCE will have a great time in his new group,
and I wish him good luck with his comming scene career. Let's hope that
you'll take care of your new friends better. You have been a very good friend
of mine for about two years now, and I'll try to remember you for who you
used to be, not who you are now....
Let us hope that your new friends in balance don't understand who you are
until you'll get an offer from a new and in your eyes much better group.
I advice you to rethink what you've done with your life, cause as I know
you very well, I happens to know that you haven't many friends left now.
As you now even left your only true friend - your own older brother.
I'm just curious about how the real members of balance will react when
you release your first own balance production, as I'm quite sure of that
you won't even get close to the original balance quality. In fact, the
only demo you've done before only consists of routines that other people
have coded for you.
Special note: Balance is one of my favorite groups and I really don't have
anything against them. All time respect to all of you balance members who
have helped creating what you have become.
To all ex-DUPLO members I just want to say that we have had a lot of fun
together. For more fun write/call me... you've got my adress and number.
Just make a quick call and maybe we could meet and have a few beers together
this summer. Let's show the greedy one what real friendship is.....
