I have Worked writing programs on many machine formats , AMIGA , MEGADRIVE
SUPER NINTENDO , and then i was asked to work on the new generation of
consoles so i started to run some tests to see what was the most superior
of these machines so we could start to do our new game on it.

4) sega 32x segas gap filler while they get themselves organised boo-hoo

2) sega saturn a great machine especially in the way it handles its
data with the duel purpose sh2 chips nicely done
however in our tests and according to hardware spec
and yes we did go to sega to see it in action coz
at the time we thought it was the greatest and sega
did not have to convince us the demos they showed
us did , they were fucking cool! and we decided
to develop at least one of our 5 new games on the saturn

some of the forthcoming games we have in progress
when they took a look at the one my team had planned
they were most interested so much so that they invited
us to their head office to try to get us to develop the
game for the playstation and not the saturn.
we thought hmmmm the saturn is going to take some beating
but then Sony hit us with a brick and reeled of some
serious demos that not only blew us away but convinced us
on the spot to forget the saturn and go to the playstation
the reason was simply that the playstation was superior
to the saturn in most of the areas we were looking for
and not just in 3d as you stated.
fact the sony psx has no problem whatsoever with sprite handling as all the
sprites in the psx are actually polygons and you stated yourself that the
psx was superior in polygon mass than the saturn , (oops me and my bigmouth).

memory worthwhile on old consoles where rom is minimal but on a cd its not a
problem at all , and ridge racer is not lame for reading it of the cd at all
speak to most programmers and im sure they will agree it the best way to do

games that sony have on offer as sony are not disclosing some of their
lineup beacuse some of the companys that are developing them are
finishing of games for sega and nintendo and do not want them to know
that they infuture will be developing for far superior Sony machines
nintendo especially can get very funny when they find out a company
is developing for another format besides theirs.
