How to fix the reset problem on the Wild Card.

First of all my configuration:

* SNES USA NTSC
* Wild Card 1.6c (argh I should upgrade it...)
* 1084 Monitor

I only can connect my SNES to the monitor thru RGB (the TV system here
is PAL) so I've no idea about any other configuration.

I had the problem to connect my Amiga and my SNES to the monitor, obviously
I had every time to disconnect the Amiga and connect the SNES... too boring!
So I decided to make a switcher. While I was soldering the switcher I noticed
that the SNES scart cable had more wires than the Amiga one.

Here the wiring of my SNES original RGB SCART:

                       G C1,C2,C3 100µF Electrolitic
                       R R1 150Ohm
                   B E R
                   L E E
                   U N D __GROUND
                + _|_ _|_ _|_ |
        C1,C2,C3 ___ ___ ___ |
              _____|___|___|___|___
             | | | | | |
             | o o o o |
             | o o o o o o |
             |_|___|_|_______|_|_|__\
               | | | | | |____
      SYNC_____| | +-/\/\/-+ |______AUDIO LEFT & RIGHT
                   | | R1
      GROUND_YY____| |
                     |
                     |WIRE XX (this is the wire to cut)

Compared to the amiga one there are these following other wires connected:

GROUND YY (It must be connected otherwise the SNES won't work properly)
WIRE XX (I don't know what's for)
The resistor R1 (I also don't know what's for)

Note: the three capacitors are not important.

For some reason the Wild Card can hold data in memory, even the power is
off preventing you from resetting. To avoid that you only have to cut the
wire XX and the Wild Card will reset EVERYTIME! Also the black screen will
be history!

I noticed that to this wire there's a tension of about 2 volts, I haven't
any SNES diagram so I have no idea why these 2 volts give us so many
problems if they arrive into the SNES.

Anyway cutting this wire all my problem about resetting and black screen
after switched it off and on are gone! Now I can switch my Wild Card off
and on and it starts E-V-E-R-Y-T-I-M-E-! (even I played or not a game).

I was thinking to bought a Pro Fighter cause I was tired of this bug!
The Pro Fighters users now just lost the only reason to say: PF is better!
The Wild Card is better supported (the PF users still wait for a decent
send program for Amiga...) So now I can say: Wild Card is the best! On
my old 1.6c I run all games (except the ones require DSP, FX or 24mbit of
coz) and when I say all I mean ALL!

So, get your Wild Card NOW!

For the cheapest price, italians contact Mr.IRQ (hehe ciao Giampiero!)
P.S. I prezzi migliori li ha solo Mr.IRQ lasciate perdere tutti gli
altri VU CUMPRA'... olte ad essere cari non sono seri.

In USA for the best price contact THE WHITE KNIGHT (hi Nrupesh!)
                               or LEGEND (hi Josh!)

These are serious... if you won't lose your money and avoid any problem
now you know were to get you Wild Card.
