I painfully regret what I am about to tell you guys....
Xmission (my isp) has finally decided that I spend too much time online and
want a shitload more money a month for a dedicated line to continue running
things the way I do.
So I have no choice but to take the bbs down. Right now I am dumping $117 a
month to Xmission and the local phone company to keep this bbs online and
it would cost $430 a month to keep going with the dedicated line. There is
no way in hell I am paying that for this.
What kills me is that I have had this discussion a few times before with
the owner of Xmission and it was always ok with him and I am not sure why
the change of heart.
I want to thank all the users of the bbs over the past 7 years, it has been
a lot of fun! I learned a lot about computers and and people!
I thank all of you that have supported the ROW over the years.
I think I will keep the same email but then again I am really pissed off at
Xmission right now... :)
