What is NewFiles ???

NewFiles is a replacement for the f-,n- and n s u /X-Commands, but it give
you more powerful features like dirstyling, flagging by Number , flagging
more files with a snapper,etc...all functions will be described later in
the Chapters @{" FEATURES " LINK C4} and @{" COMMANDS " LINK C5}...

First U need...
- an Amiga Model (500-4000T) with the installed Kickstart V37++
- An full working Version from da /X...NewFiles needs /X V2.3x or higher
to run correctly.
...things U need too...
decrunch the NewFiles-Archive...it contains the following programs:
1.) NewFiles - The Main Program
2.) NewFiles.info - Configuration Icon
3.) Help's - Directory with the Help's
4.) n.info - Icon for /X V3.xx
5.) f.info - Icon for /X V3.xx
...that's all...now let's start with the @{" INSTALLATION " LINK C3}.

HoW To iNSTaLL "NeWFiLeS"

First, I recommend to create a drawer called "DOORS:NEWFILES/"...here U can
put all files required by "NeWFiLeS".
Copy the Files "NewFiles" and "NewFiles.info" into this drawer.
Copy the Directory "Help" to the "DOORS:NEWFILES/" Drawer...
The further Installation depends on which /X-Version U are using :

Many Routine's has been changed and the "f" Fake has been killed,too!
Now "NeWFiLeS" will search for New files on you're Hard Disk, if not enough
FastRam is free to search in RAM..(Non Tested 100%,'coz my RAM is too big,
but no errors or bugs found until now...if U find out a Bug, leave a
@{" Message " LINK DIABOLO} to me and I will fix the Prob as fast as I can.
Aborting NewFiles with CTRL-C is now possible.
The Help Pages are now free configurable...change the style to what you
want...no limit is made...:)
The "NS" Option in the MainPrompt was changed :
NS ---> Nonstop FileList
N ---> Quit
Q ---> Quit
Via the @{" ToolTypes " LINK C6} U are able to configure all you want,like Dateline,etc.
More Compatibility to /X 'coz now the "n mm dd yy" is installed...in
previous Versions from "NeWFiLeS" you need to type "n mm-dd-yy" hope that
Traders like the new Option ! ;)
The colors for the Filelist are freely configurable !
You could choose between a global Newdate-Line or define a special NewDate-
Line for every Conference.
You're able to set at which Level a User could scan your Hold Directory!
Now you can flag files by Filenumbers like Tempest-BBS's.
It's possible to enter more than only one filename to flag...try to snap
all filenames from the actual shown list, enter "F" for Flag-Mode and snap
the names into the BBS..."NeWFiLeS" will automatically flag all snapped
Filenames!
The main Routine to get chars from a user is rewritten...now you can enter
13 chars instead of 12...hope it helps...

If you want to use one DateLine for all Conferences, all you have to do is
