Yo, this is TENTACLE on the keys! Erm - how to begin?
Ok - Icarus asked me if i could work on a scanner for FAME. He thought
i was coding for FAME all the time, but i wasn't. Anyway, after some
serious problems compiling the testsource with MAXON C++, i've finally
decided to do my job with good old SAS/C again.
The scanner should look and work like AQUASCAN for /X (Greetings to the
man himself - AQUARiUS!) ;) I've already got some ideas for special
features, like asyncronous I/O and stuff like that ...
But now i want to ask you, yes YOU!: What do yo think about all that?
Would it be worth doing it, do you have some serious ideas, something
important that you'd like to have changed in the FAME-Version?
Would you prefer internal coding or wouldn't you matter if i would use
the FameDoor.library (Greetz again - to WiLD THiNG)?
Just tell me anything - and keep in mind, that i don't wanna have some
"PLEASE REGiSTER"-shit in it - it'll be TOTALLY FREE!
[ Smells like "-scene- spirit", doesn't it? ;^))) ]
And don't mind - if there'll be bugreports, i'll DO something!
What i want to tell you with this text is, that there's too much crap
creeping out there for /X and S!X, e.g. REXX-DOORS [i hate, yes i really,
really, really HATE! REXX-DOORS], and i don't want to see this anymore!
So be honest to yourself and take your chance to let your board look a
bit better, let it be a bit faster - just let it be GOOD!
