FEATURES:
This is ALMOST an ordinary userlister as all the others, BUT there
are SOME differences. This Userlister Supports 5 Different output
styles with different information than the ordinary userlisters
available.. Just look at the example Outputs Included in this Arc.
This util Only Supports ANSI output so far..
THECHNICAL INFO:
This Util is a Compiled Arexx File. So in order to get it working
you need some external libraries.. Not supplied, because i think
all /X sysops got them allready. When executed, this file first
copies the USER.DATA to RAM:USERDATA.TMP and Reads The Contents
from RAM: for Speed Improvement, Second it Writes the output file
to RAM:USERLIST.TMP and Then Copies it to The Defined output file,
Third It Deletes all .Tmp Files in RAM: and Exits.
TIPS:
Since this util is Written in Arexx it may be quite slow
(It takes about 10 Sec Per 100 Users).. So i thougt it may
be to slow to run it from the Logoff-Script, So i suggest
you run it once every 24 hours or something like that..
But it is Your Desicion When/Where to Run it.. just a Tip..
IMPORTANT:
DISPLAYMODE 5 IS !NOT! ADVISED TO USE ON BULLETINS CAUSE IT
DISPLAYS USERNAME, PASSWORD, PHONE AND SO ON.. THIS MODE IS
FOR MAKING 'NORMAL' LISTS OF USERS.. FOR VOICE VALIDATING,
ACCOUNT SERVICE AND SO ON..
