"Every item in this bundle is made using real photos of very real street art, hence the realistic feel, and we also used AI to enhance our JPGs, hence the insanely high quality. So these 300 8K resolution graffiti couldn’t have been made in the first place if it wasn’t for this team effort between artificial intelligence and mankind’s creativity. That’s why you can beat any full HD graffiti wallpaper without a hitch with RB’s super cool graffiti designs. There’s no room for comparison." (https://resourceboy.com/graphics/graffiti-backgrounds/)

Hello, I hope you are doing well.
I am submitting this work as an entry for the Oldschool Pixelart GFX category and I would like to mention the following. The work is based on the consversion of an image from a collection of Graffiti photographs (free to download and royalty-free for personal and commercial uses) which I converted for C64 using -ClashState- (from Retro Computación official repository by -Durandal-). I selected this image from among many others I had been experimenting with, converting high-resolution images for this 8-bit platform as part of a study on styles, parameters, color palettes, graphic modes, etc. (I am not talking about a licensing issue here since as I understand there should be all fine in that regard.) However, I would like to point out something I noticed just before submitting my entry: upon re-examining the information from the source website, I realized they say artificial intelligence was used to "optimize" the JPG files. I include the quoted text below:
"Every item in this bundle is made using real photos of very real street art, hence the realistic feel, and we also used AI to enhance our JPGs, hence the insanely high quality. So these 300 8K resolution graffiti couldn’t have been made in the first place if it wasn’t for this team effort between artificial intelligence and mankind’s creativity. That’s why you can beat any full HD graffiti wallpaper without a hitch with RB’s super cool graffiti designs. There’s no room for comparison." (https://resourceboy.com/graphics/graffiti-backgrounds/)
So, with that said, it is perfectly understandable that for any reason it is decided to move this entry to a different category. To that end I have included a GIF in the ExtraGif folder featuring several conversions that could be presented instead, with the accompanying text slightly modified to read:
"Conversions for C64/Vic-II made with -ClashState-. The source images, by anonymous authors, belong to a collection of graffiti photographs available at https://resourceboy.com."
That's all, thank you very much, I hope Flash Party 2026 will be great, viva la Flash Party!
