technology involved:
* PBR illumination
with a neat
microfacet BRDF.
* In-Shader
sequencer with
smooth trigger
curves, allowing
the smooth and
pseudo-random
interpolation of
a set of values
without sampling
problems (like in
the polar folds).
* Polar radial and
angular space
folds, also
fractal later in
the prod.
* 28 different color
palettes, designed
specifically for
the demo, sampled
in different
visual area ratios
to generate
different effects.
* A knitted fabric
illusion.
* A non-uniformly
sized octree.
* My first steps
in typography.
