    GBA ROMs need to include a 156-byte Nintendo logo to function (the BIOS
    checks for this, and refuses to boot the game if it's not there).
    "bi-color.emu.gba" has this region zeroed out and thus only works in an
    emulator, while "bi-color.hw.gba" has the logo present so it can boot
    during hardware.

calling the compo the "bicolor challenge" mmade this an obvious choice, so,
yeah. i intended to make a different entry to this compo first, but that didnt
work out (waay too complicated platform to make something for within 24 hours),
so here we are i suppose.
