Shibari is a form of Japanese rope bondage that originated
from martial arts techniques of restraining captives. It involves tying
a person using intricate patterns and knots, focusing on aesthetics and the emotional
dynamics of power, control, and vulnerability.
Taking this photograph required physical and mental endurance as the ropes bite quite
hard to rope bunny's lower abdomen. However it was all about trust, consent and
communication and everyone had a great experience.
