Sillystomp
Remote entry by Tao of Cream for the SillyVenture 2k22
Winter Edition YM2149 chipmusic competition.
Tested only on my own Atari 1040 STE, Hatari on Mac
and Jam for Windows. Hatari (on Mac) struggles a
little bit with volumes, Jam for Windows still needs
an update to replay modern soundchip techniques. It
is hopefully coming soon.
Some specs:
- Chipmusic with (3) timers
- Basic SyncSquare effect
- Syncbuzzer pwm, syncing two envelopes using
pwm techniques for exiting synth sounds
- Sid voice with adjustable pulse width
Notes:
This version of the player is still a little rude with timer C
so this SNDH file makes use of the VBL "!V50" tag, which means
the song is supposed to be replayed at 50 Hz. So make sure to
run your SNDH player at 50Hz refresh rate to achieve a proper
replay of the song.
Have fun.
