Bug on a Plant

Zombie weevil with fungus extension from the Amazon jungle at night.
Inspired by the last years compo where my photo with concept was not
shown, while boring sunsets, apples and plain fields were, I tried
to be more innovative this time to find something that should be picked
because it is similarly against the Revision orga's recommendations.
This weevil (Curculionoidea) was infected by a fungus that manipulated
its behaviour to climb a high branch. The zombified insect clinges to
it until its death while the fungus grows these extensions and
releases its spores into the wind.
