Title: Surge
Group: Eventide
Party: Sundown 2013
Credits:
Code: revival
Code: raizor
Music: Punqtured
This is a somewhat 'fixed' version of the
party release. It should run on both Nvidia
and ATI cards but it's still a debug build
due to a memory corruption bug affecting the
release build. It's still very rough around
the edges and massively oversized, but at
least you should be able to watch it now.
Not sure if a finished/final version will
ever materialise. I think we're all rather
sick of this damn intro/demo now :P
--------------------------------------------
This got terribly rushed. This was released
right when we're working on a new tool for
our 64k intros, but we really, really wanted
to do an entry for Sundown. So we picked
up bits and pieces of what we had, broke
the old tool completely, and ended up having
to make it a demo, due to problems with the
synth, the fonts and a lot of other problems
so it won't be a 64k this time. Sorry about
that, but we'll get there. We will!
The exe release is an oversized version,
due to a few last minute headaches...
The sunset scene uses a modified version of
h3r3's Shadertoy Sunset shader, and the TV
filter effect is based on Rez/Razor1911's
famous TV screen filter.

HOW CAN I HELP?
* You can help by donating money to scene.org. All money will go
into upgrading the archive, and will allow us to improve our
services to you and the rest of the scene.
* We are also looking for corporate sponsors. The return on a
sponsorship involves advertising the company on the archive. This
is an ideal method for a company to reach a global potential
customer base of young, talented and motivated people in the
computer and design business.
* Thirdly, we are looking for mirrors for our archive. Mirrors help
us with lowering the demand on our main server and improve the
availability of the archive around the world.
