  background
  ----------

After TMDC9 in end of 2006 we decided to do another text mode demo for the
next TMDC. The work was started some weeks before the deadline. Unfortunately
due to lack of inspiration and energy we didn't get the demo finished for the
  competition.

In December 2008 the TMDC11 was approaching. We scrapped the old unfinished
demo and started from scratch. We had the final version of the soundtrack but
the demo was still missing about half the content when the deadline struck.

A few months later I continued working on the demo. The idea was to release it
on some party or outside of a competition. I asked shadez if he would like to
contribute something for the demo. He wrote a nice ray marching routine that
is used on two effects in the demo.

The rasterizer used is our own custom solution. It was first used on Carbon
Monoxide and then improved somewhat for Carbon Dioxide.

We had the demo in a nice shape and Breakpoint was approaching therefore we
decided to release the demo there. Only some final touches were needed before
  the party.
