Ribbons, Tunnels and Techno
An Ate Bit demo from evilpaul and Syphus^UpRough
Writing a demo engine can be a pretty depressing task. Eventually
you need to use the engine in anger - you need to actually write a
demo with it to give you some much needed direction, motivation and
a gentle push to fix those bugs that you keep ignoring. When those
ropey test objects and effects finally make way for something that
looks and feels like a real demo.. you'll find it all worthwhile.
So imagine yourself with less than a month to go before Sundown and
realising that you haven't planned to make anything for it. Then
remember that you've got a 50% finished engine and decide to start
work on something.
That's where this demo comes from.
Greetings to the usual suspects.

HOW CAN I HELP?
* You can help by donating money to scene.org. All money will go
into upgrading the archive, and will allow us to improve our
services to you and the rest of the scene.
* We are also looking for corporate sponsors. The return on a
sponsorship involves advertising the company on the archive. This
is an ideal method for a company to reach a global potential
customer base of young, talented and motivated people in the
computer and design business.
* Thirdly, we are looking for mirrors for our archive. Mirrors help
us with lowering the demand on our main server and improve the
availability of the archive around the world.
For more information, refer to the website or contact us at
staff@scene.org.
