CellRace - Description

CellRace is a turn based game, which is derived from a game that is played with pen and a squared paper. However, manually drawn race tracks on paper are cumbersome and not very precise. The CellRace game does all the layout and logic for you.

The CellRace game is similar to other racing games. The player starts in the first gear and has the option to hold the gear or shift the gear up. At this stage the player has 6 positions to move to. The first 3 positions can be reached in the first gear, the next 3 positions in the second gear. After the player has chosen a position, other players have the chance to make their turn. After shifting to the second gear, the player can shift now the gear up, hold the gear or shift the gear down. For every gear the player can move a certain distance and for every gear 3 positions are shown where the user can steer left, right, or move without steering. The faster the player gets, the higher the gear is, the smaller the angle to steer gets. The tricky part is to get through the curves as fast as possible. If the player enters a curve too fast he will crash and lose the race.

The goal of the game is move as fast as possible and to chose the appropriate gear for every curve. An additional feature is the slipstream, which is active if a player is behind another player. However, slipstreams can be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on the players' location.

Unfortunately multiplayer is not supported yet.
