welcome to the world of...
a paniq/cp/ryg/chaos coproduction.
released at tum 2004.
"this is not a black"
I. the story:
well, one guy, a pretty fucked-up idea, and 3 months of
work. (well, 2 of them idled away with experiments that didn't
make it into the final demo). and some pretty heavy-duty
short-before-the-deadline tweaking, as is customary for quality
this requires a pretty fast graphics card to be enjoyable.
it won't run below 1.3 pixel shaders, but you need at least an
ati radeon 9600 or fx5600 to truly join the fun. a not-too-fast
processor (p4 1.6ghz up or equivalent athlons) should be fine. you
probably need lots of ram (not checked) and definitely need plenty
of vram (checked).
we've been encountering some sound synchronization problems
on some machines, as usual. as usual, we're looking into the
issues (won't this ever stop?), and as usual, expect them to be
fixed in an upcoming final version if you're one of the victims.
(paniq happens to be one of them, so we should manage to provide
a fix pretty soon).
III. the credits:
