"The Michelle Pfeiffer Compressor"
This entry is a technology demonstration of compression algorithms
developed by students at ETH, Zurich. It is a compression algoritm
that allows you to train a fuzzy quantum compression engine with
certain vectors to allow it to losslessily compress files with a ratio
of <><>:1. The file is broken into qubits and stored in parallell
universes.
The fuzzy quantum compression engine is used in this application to
specifically compress images of the lovely Michelle Pfeiffer.
Usage:
------
To compress:
> mpcomp --compress filename.jpg filename.mca
To uncompress:
> mpcomp --uncompress filename.mca filename.jpg
The MCA-file (Michelle Compressor Archive) is safe to attach to emails
and send to friends and family.
Troubleshooting:
----------------
The compressor is trained with skeletal/dermal vectors, and the
quality of your results may vary. Trouble areas:
- There are multiple other people depicted
- Both of Michelle's lovely cheekbones are not visible
- Both of Michelle's lovely eyes are not visible
- The brightness is too high
- The quality of the original image is too bad
- Michelle is not actually in the picture
- The picture is small, thumbnails, for example
- Fakes or lookalikes
- Pictures that are not JPEG
