        . why does it load so slowly?

        blame the demo size limit. what has to be done is to first
        lossles decode all the data, then to lossy decode it,
        and then (in case of textures) to tranform and process
        them and again to encode lossy in a graphics card
        format. ideally for fast loading one would store textures
        only lossless packed in the graphics card native format
        but then you would be looking at a 150mb rar file.

        yes, definately. we will provide a smaller & faster
        version in the near future.
        
        . more code stuff
     
        this demo uses the full relais engine. it is therefore less
        efficient than one might expect. we do not care. 
        luckily the demo uses only the low end shaders. so it will work
        on a geforce 4 mx. ignore the warning. i do not know about
        ati cards and i also do not care. worth a try maybe, at least
        it does allow you to do that now.
