This is absolutely not the biggest party arranged in Norway, but
our intention is to gather the Norwegian demoscene. We all know
how parties like The Gathering are?! 80% of the visitors is playing
games and watching pictures for 4 days. If you are one of those, then
don't even think about coming ;)

Bushparty ]I[ will be held in a sports centre called Eidanger
hallen in Porsgrunn, Norway. The party will start Thursday at 12:00
the 27th of June and will end on Sunday at 12:00 the 30th of June.

ÀÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÍ 1. HOW TO GET TO THE PARTYPLACE ÍÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ
There are ofcourse several ways to get to the partyplace..
Most likely you will travel by train or car. If you're going
by car then check out BP3_MAP.GIF included in this package.
This map explains the way from Porsgrunn to Eidangerhallen,
and you should be able to find the way to Porsgrunn yourself.
If you're going by train then you have to travel a few km with
bus aswell. When the train stops in Porsgrunn you just walk over
to the bus terminal right across the street. There you will see
a sign marked "Eidanger" or something (Call me for help!).. So..
Just wait for the bus to arrive and then ask the bussdriver to
tell you when to get off. That should be just about it.. If you
are a bit puzzled now, then call one of the numbers in the end
of this textfile to get more information.

The organizers reserve the right to make any changes to the
competition rules, and to disqualify any entry if it is not
suitable to attend the competitions for some reason.
At least one of the competiting team has to be present at the
party place and in the case of a solo competition the competitor
has to be present.
All intros, pictures and songs will be spread at the partyplace
by the organizers.
PC COMPETITIONS:

INTRO - Maximum size in executable form is 80 kb
(81920 bytes)
- Maximum showing time is 5 minutes
- Pure animation files not accepted
- 100% VGA register level compatible
graphics modes and SVGA 640x480 are
accepted (VESA 2.0)
- The intro MUST NOT save anything on
the hard disk
4KB-INTRO - Maximum size in executable is 4096 bytes
- Maximum running length is 3 minutes
- Only one intro by one coder

4CHANNEL - Maximum size is 1024kb
- Maximum ammount of channels is 4
- Maximum running length is 3 minutes
- All songs will be played on a PC
using a Gravis Ultrasound with 1MB
memory and CapaMod 2.23
- All entried must be in MOD format
- Only one song by one musician
MULTICHANNEL - Maximum size is 1024kb
- Maximum amount of channels is 32
- Maximum running length is 3 minutes
- The format has to be one of the following:
S3M, XM, MID and MOD
- All songs will be played on a PC
using a Gravis Ultrasound with 1MB
memory and FT2, ST3 or CubicPlayer 0.96b
There will also be surprizecompos, sort of fast intros, but this
will be a little different. Information and rules will be
released at the party.

The prizes have not been decided yet. But trust us, we have planned

The main hall will be equipped with a powerfull sound system and
the big screen is identical to the one used at BP2. The big
screen will also be used for displaying information and messages
trough the party.
The main hall is twice as big as the one we used last year, so
there should be space enough for everyone. Sleeping will also be
allowed in the main hall, but there are also seperated rooms with
showers available for sleeping.
There will most likely be internet access to everybody, in conformity
with TG96 party net/internet, but in lower scale of course.
We will also have our own private cinema at the party. We have a
laserdisc system including dolby surround sound - setup by
proffesional people. No more information jet.
Softdrinks like Coke will be sold 24H. And food can be bought in
a shopping centre not far away all day. All kinds of food are no
problems.

We will probably only sell tickets at the partyplace, but if you feel
to reserve, whatever, fair enough... The prize this time is set to
75,- NOK so far, since BP3 isn't any commercial party, but if some
sponsors are backing off, we will have to make the entrance fee higher.
In any case we will let you know in time.
