PRESENTATION

NAS was first arranged in 1995. It's a special show with a hacker convent,
exhibition and different seminars - all in one place.

This time the Nordic Atari Show is held in a school building, Kortedala
Gymnasium, in Gothenburg. It offers several small rooms for the hacker
contests and seminars, a big lecture hall for showing demos and films and a
normal size restaurant for the exhibition. Showers and dressing rooms are
available, and there is free carparking in the school area.

Pizza restaurant, cafe and other shops are only a few steps away from the
school. If you want to stay at a hotel please contact us for information
or visit our Webpage for details (http://www.tripnet.se/sak/nas).

Kortedala Gymnasium is fifteen to twenty minutes away from the central part
of Gothenburg. There are good possibilities for communications by tram or
car.

The dates are the 14th, 15th and 16th of June. Gather with your friends and
join us at a very fun and exciting show for Atari users around the northern
and european part of the world!

This year the exhibition and seminars are arranged by the Swedish Atari
Users' Association (Svenska Atariklubben), and the hacker convent by
nocrew.

Below are all the activities, and the low entrance prices. Last year they

different situations, as well as speaking about ethics and problems
     with communicating.

THE SEMINARS

More will be added as soon as we get to know about them.

Internet What is Internet and how can I use it with my Atari? Experienced
administrators will be talking about Internet - history, how it's
made, the future and more. We'll put it in reality too, with
products for Atari computers that all of us can use - easy!

THE CONVENTION

NOTE: This is preliminary information. Updates will come.

Which computer? Atari in all forms. We want the hackers and the democoders.
The Linux freaks. The MiNT people. The Jaguar nuts and everyone else
that uses Atari in some form.

Demo contests

BIG ONE
No limit at all. Should be able to run on a Atari compatible computer
present on NAS96.

SMALL ONE
The limit is the shoesize squared (european) of the deliverer in bytes.

World cup in alfabutton

We will try to break the world record in typing a to z on a standard
keyboard. So far, way below two seconds. Go practise...

Films and demos

We will alternate between showing films and old demos on our big
screen projectors. Of course newer ones as well.

Prices

They will most certainly show up and be of good quality.
More info to come.

More information is available from larkov@tripnet.se, or visit nocrew's
homepage at http://www.dd.chalmers.se/~f93labr/nocrew/index.html

Attending people

nocrew, docrew, Impulse, I.C.E., Dead Hacker's Society, IMPonance,
The Black Lotus, Aggression, Andrew Whittacker, Christer Gustavsson
(the author of oAESis), and you.

#### emolition is a graphical demo made for the Atari Falcon or

The last couple of months we have had lots of questions about the
releasedate.

## ##
# # #
# # ay 05, 1996. Was the date we finally made it.
It's still very much alike the unpolished demo we showed at the
Aggressive II party. But atleast we have finished it. Or rather, released
it.

# #
# # #
## ## e appologise for the very late release, and the enormous amount of
harddisk space needed to run it. However, the rules at Aggressive II were
max 8mb, and we though; why the hell not take advantage of it?
