It's finally here! I'm truly proud to present our first full
musicdisk, featuring all of the mah collective and three guest
artists, serving you fifteen top tunes which probably are our
most chilled releases ever! I truly hope you enjoy these break-
through mah mellow beats, and that the unique little special
touches I've given this collection will help you see how these
tracks truly fits togheter. I'll almost go so far as to call
this one of the first -true- musicdisks on the net. This is how
it should be, this is the future - enjoy it. Here is the track
listing;
track1. (01sgt2-8.xm) "Mutated Forest" by Dousk 07m08s
"Mutated Forest - Saget 2" opens the disk, and is a very
enjoyable ambient affair. This track does indeed live up to
what its title suggests.
track2. (02!ocean.xm) "OceanSide Serenity" by macris 03m37s
The most laidback track ever from macris still gives a punch,
with it's march-styled beats and acid-warble squeeks. But still,
there -is- some kind of serenity in this one... Weird.
track3. (03-mahxp.xm) "the mah experience" by tb 05m35s
A mah "anthem"? Maybe, but what's sure is that tb once again
gives us a nice tune which is very easy to enjoy. This time, the
tune is a bit more d+b styled, more laidback and more aggressive
(simultaneously!) than what he's been doing lately.
track4. (04gen-md.it) "mnemonic journey" by genocyber 05m47s
Drumming/rhythm galore! If you wonder how anyone can make a
mellow tune based on rhythms, here's the answer. A journey
through the memory of a sick oz drummer, hehe...
track5. (05fl-fst.xm) "forsythia" by fulcrum 06m33s
And so the disk warps into it's 99% d+b suite, with this nice
offering from fulcrum. Forsythia is a very good vibraphone d+b
tune with a great touch of fulcrumness. I like it!
track6. (06d&grce.xm) "Drum & Grace" by teknostep 04m45s

Teknostep has joined mah, and with this offering he gives you
another chance to enjoy his vision of the musical future. Cool!
track7. (07gen-st.it) "hairstyle" by genocyber 01m10s
This one is based on gen's classic mah006 release 'freestyle,'
a short drum'n'bass attack. Possibly the least chilled track in
the whole disk, but still a nice addition..
track8. (08africa.it) "African Dragon" by RebRiffs+mrbla 05m11s
Rebel Riffs in the form of english gent Steve Gilmore is the
brain behind most of this track. The story behind this track is
long and weird, so just listen to the tune instead.. anyway,
because Steve's email address was lost while converting the mod
from .xm to .it - here it is: rebriffer@netcom.co.uk . Give him
a shout if you have anything to say about this tune! Well, could
mail me too, of course. In that case - look below... =)
track9. (09m_wbbl.xm) "mellow wibble" by dOInk 05m20s
dOInk gives us the technically least advanced mod in the disk,
but don't let that fool you! A nice little 4chn xm in contrast
to the 20chn+ monsters that usually pervades todays musicdisks..
track10. (10g!2-8.xm) "g2" by Dousk+mister bla 05m37s
g2, a nice mellow/ambient d+b track with a few trance elements
brought to you by Dousk and given a slight edit by mister bla...
Another very enjoyable track from Dousk, and I assure you that
Dousk is a guy to keep an eye on... (wow!)
track11. (11cosmo.it) "green cosmonaut" by Foze 04m20s
Foze is the newest addition to the mah team, and possibly a
needed one as well... His first mah release is a very good dark
breakbeat track, enjoyable and as should be, quite laidback...
track12. (12dcayed.xm) "decayed" by twin 06m01s
Twin is another new mah member, and his first release is also
a quite dark ambient type affair... twin's track brings us into
the slightly less d+b-minded suite of this disk, with ambient
styled little sounds flowing in and out of the soundscape...
track13. (13vg-nxp.xm) "unexpected adventure" vildauget 08m05s
And so the third and final guest release this time around,
courteasy of my friend vildauget, continuing the theme from the
previous track by twin. A nice bonus story in the instruments
list puts you in the right condition to digest the music.
track14. (14sbszkj.it) "kiajera" by substanza 08m37s
[misterdiskmiscmix] by mister bla - ambient sample improved...
This tune is a bit weird, and I still have doubts wheter it is
horrendously untuned or not. I tried improving the main sample,
but I couldn't get a better sounding result than this.. However,
I take the chance and hope that I didn't fuck it up completely.
So, listen to the tune and tell me what you think. Fingers x'ed!
track15. (15gen-cd.it) "chamelon dub..." by genocyber 03m03s
chameleon dub [subsonic waterfall mix] - genocyber continues
his ongoing remix spree with a mix of astradyne's chameleon dub
track. And at the same time, he gets the honour of closing this
disk. I hope you've been enjoying this, and that you'll continue
following our future musical exploits, all up to mah999... =)

No, "Mah" isn't an abbrevation. Mah simply means 'my.' My music.
We operate on a mixed principle; but it all boils down to what
we like to call 'artistic freedom.' Freedom for the artists to
do whatever they want, as long as the music they produce is of a
high enough quality to deserve the Mah imprint. Not all releases
are from members, in fact we encourage people to send in their
tracks for a possible guest release. Of course, there are a few
rules: it has to be a style which fits Mah. Essentially that
means if it isn't we won't release it. Download a few releases
and you'll see what I'm talking about. And most importantly, it
has to be -good-. High quality only. If you want to however,
you're welcome to join Mah. What you'll get from releasing music
through Mah is; more publicity, more recognition in the scene,
lots of free distribution and more. A lot more. If you use Mah
for listening purposes only, be assured that we release some of
the greatest music the scene has to offer, no matter what style.
