Release info: enrmp080 - [creeper:Robusto] - "cloned superstar"

2003/2004

join the ride from dark ambient cyborg jazz to insect big beats and
take the frontside bus to the heart of realities motherboard.
manipulating the DNS of electronic sounds generates an unusual
atmosphere of intelligent dance music, balancing on the edge between
darkness and insanety, far away from the main streams of the
cloneing industries of the music market.
the story within is the awakening of one out of the legions of the
cloned superstars, manufactured worlwide behind the TV screens. as
he begins to understand the vampyristic relationship he had been
slipt in by his naivity the music industry already has got its
fangs deep into his live spending ateria, anger and helplesness
leads him finally in to the arms of Doc.AtmosfearCrush and the
[Esc.]Laboratory - team Tomahawk and Machete. together they remixed
his molecules with extraordinary inventions of sound creations.
infected by the virus of experimentalism, the cloned superstar began
his assassination of the music market.
with the knowledge that everything an artist nowadays needs to get
heard is access to the world wide web, the cloned superstar spread
throughout the net in to the very less known parts of the planet.
as he figured it out that he had now the ability to reproduce
himself he thought by the way: "I can sound me, so I am!".
It is an act of causing chaos and disturb the harmony of the
commercial music market. Support your globalised possibility to
change things by fishing out the special moments in music, choose
to be a [creeper:Robusto]!

[Esc.] Laboratory / Fabrik_Worms

plays: cinematique ambient, trip storytelling, cyborg jazz, insect
big beat, horror dub, highway tech hop, dark future neon blues,
cyber delic electro punk, urban chill out or just numbers to listen!

Q: Why do you make music?

A: "Making music means for us to free the hearts from agony,
frustration, lust and the eternal sin. It`s a way of cleansing the
soul. As we get deeper into the grains of sound we touch the
intelligence of chaos. The atmosphere of the social environment
leads us to do our own manipulations in the arrangement. We have
begun to understand our feelings and translate them in to hearable
numbers."

Doc.AtmosfearCrush

Back in the very hot summer of 2003, Tomahawk suggested to occupy
a garbaged cellar room at the alternative artist`s working- and
living community Fabrik_Worms. His idea was to relocate there a
band`s room.
Doc. AtmosfearCrush, former member of [analogwerk] insisted on to
establish there a whole project studio instead. The both guys mixed
their ideas and forces and in September 2003 the [Esc.] Laboratory
booted up its system by the help of some friends.
While Tomahawk`s background as a classic guitarist, songwriter and
singer led him to explore new ways of working with music,
Doc. AtmosfearCrush came from the more straightful side of electro /
techno as well as experimental sound design.
During the winter of 2003 Machete, former member of Berlin`s
Projekt Klangform joined the base of creativity. With his background
of electro / techno and his love also to experimentate with the
expressions of sound compiled the triangle of the monster motor
machine.
Since 2003 the LAB-crew uses to perform at clubs, parties,
festivals and art exhibitions exclusively to prove their live
capability in experimental improvisations to vibeful techno
live acts.
The massive output has grown to 18 projects and have got connected
by the dark red line of the [Esc.]Laboratory`s own interpretation
of how electronic music should sound in the not so far away future.
While celebrating an own kind of studio happenings a lot of people
got in touch with the LAB-crew and joined from time to time the jam
sessions.
After some tragic mysterious hard-disk crashes, which completly
erased the whole [Esc.]Laboratory sample and sound library, things
nearly drove everyone of us more avantgarde than we used to be.
This was the kicking idea of the studio`s own philosophy. Every
track is a recorded moment in our lives! It`s a jaming monster of
sound and rhythm, dark and hungry.
The strategies got more minimalistic and both worlds, the side of
studio producing and the side of live performances morphed in to
each other.
 Today`s hyper-activity of [Esc]Laboratory has grown to 18 different
electronic related projects and has been connected by the dark
atmospheric red line of [Esc.]`s own interpretation of how music
should sound for us all in the near future.
Electro Punks not dead, they just smell funny!
