EXTINCTION II README
====================
Well...it's been a while since the first one, so here's another one.
Some of these tunes are out in the public domain already, but are
mostly parts of other disks/compos/etc. So finally they are all available
together and also with some new tracks.
I'm hoping that the production here is quite good for raw .IT files,
because my aim has for a while been that I was going to produce raw
ITs that sound as good/better than some of the MP3s that are knocking
around the scene today. It's an old can of worms that doesn't need opening
up again, but I'm nostalgic and believe that the tracked metalscene
should stay true to it's name. Unfortunately, if the scene continues
going the way that it is, I my be forced to convert to MP3 for some of
my releases. However, I will ALWAYS release ITs as well if I can.
Pehaps in the long run the scene will benefit, as what I may do in future
is release a sampleraped, unmastered IT, and then after a few weeks a
mastered, mixed, unraped MP3. Hopefully people will be able to understand
and hear the difference and how it was achieved.
There were going to be another 4 tracks on this disk; all of them were
egyptian influenced corpsemetal; they were still awaiting vocals and I
thought that they may stick out like a sore tumb compared to all the other
full riffs tracks here. They will be saved for a future disk (perhaps the
eternity-project known loosely as Consumed III).
The tracks that did make it are a little inconsistent in the production
department because the oldest were made a long time ago, and the newest
very recently, and obviously my skills have improved/changed between the
two.
It's mostly death & thrash, so sit back, enjoy and fucking MOSH.

PS: some of the info in the message sections is very old; "For Anhur Thine
Blood" has the most recent in it.
