\F2\4\MThe First Problems With
\MThe Summer Party 1996

\MAt South Sealand they said
\Mthat The Summer Party was
\Mgoing to suck. However, we had
\Mdecided to travel to Denmark
\Mand visit this party - only
\Mto find out that they were
\Mvery right in some occasions.

\2Our first intention was to go by bike, yes, by bike. Me, Elusive/Peek & NewAge, Tobias Jansson/Citron., Pozz/C-Lous and DuffE/Sardonyx was just about to buy our ferry tickets when the ColorSeaCat people asked about our ages. This affected mine and Elusive's whole situation as we weren't come of ages, 18 that is. We weren't allowed to go by ColorSeaCat and Stena Line was fully booked so we had to travel 60 kilometers south (by car) to the nice little town Varberg and go by Lion Ferry to Denmark. This changed our situation that much that we couldn't by any means go cycling to Aalborg and the party place.

When we had landed in Grenaa, Denmark, it was about one o'clock in the morning and there was of course impossible to find any buses going at this time. We had to walk four kilometers to the centre of Grenaa as Elusive didn't feel like camping just beside a large marquee (I think it was some kind of a circus) we passed by. As it is illegal to freely camp in Denmark we had some plans to check in on an arranged camping but it was too far away from us, we later found out on some signs.

After about two hours of walking carrying my heavy bag, we finally got to the bus station in the centre of Grenaa. We had to wait until six o'clock for the first bus departure. It wasn't very funny as we didn't feel for sleeping on some benches in the, for us, unknown town.

When we finally reached Aalborg after a couple of hours of expensive bus-trips we met Tobias Jansson and DuffE, who had gone cycling about 80 kilometers (It wasn't more than 62, really. /t0j). Our first question was: "Where is Pozz?". Tobias answered with a big smile: "He just got lost on the way". "How on earth could this happen?", I asked. "It was coal-black and we were biking with big distances from each other", Tobias continued. The strange case was that Pozz had been biking until he was totally tired out and then went to some bushes beside the road where he had fallen asleep and was never found that night by Tobias, who had went back and thereby added ten more kilometers to his biking life. "I just couldn't take one more trample", Pozz said when he finally arrived to the party.

About 12 hours earlier, Origo/C-Lous came to to party by car together with his friends and team-mates in Subspace (Zalo, Visitor, Desoto and Spite). He was just about to settle down and to pack up his computer when he surprisingly found out that he had forgotten his hard-drive (containing a 95% finished demo by C-Lous to be released at the party) at home, but as he's a clever (?) man. He contacted Pozz at home and asked him if he could bring the HD with him. So he did, and when Pozz gave Origo the hard-drive, everyone that knew laughed at the situation (not Pozz, that is). Pozz had brought Slash's broken HD.
