Today, Lizardking, Mantronix, Bêrn A. Lynne, the musicians in CNCD etc, make their own CD:s. What do you say, will you make one too?

\2- I am totally unpublished by commercial means. I do plan to put something out though. I've started up composing for real this summer and finished about three tunes. Hopefully I will have finished enough tunes in the end of the summer for getting things started with a record company. That is if nothing comes in between. Like sun. (AS IF ;) I'm leaning toward the drum&bass and trippy sounds. A lot of patch-programming... Hmm. I will probably use the alias "Dave Noon" for this project if I don't come up with a better one, but I guess you'll have to wait... Somehow I'm thinking that it's about time I start pushing my way through. Lack of that spirit might be a reason for my limited releases in the scene, compared to how many tunes I've done and actually wanted people to hear.

\3You told me Funcom was interested in you some time ago but you weren't interested. Why?

\2- I've got the picture of Funcom being on their way down. As many says: too few productions on to many employees. It was actually not this wham-bam official offer but instead a sort of "come here and grab it if you like..." thing when Jason was leaving the audiodirector position. Seriously, I didn't find that too attractive. Corny has worked there for a long time but he's now left for an animation job for a film and I couldn't see myself leaving Umea, the friends I've got here and interrupting my studies for moving to Oslo at this time.

\3...but you find the game industry attractive, don't you?

\2- Yes, I do, and I believe that I will do something in this area of work in the future. I have some other things going on but I guess they are pretty secret...

\3I know that you, as millions of other people world wide, use Internet a lot. What does this growing medium means for you and your group?

\2- It's a great source for new software to try out, especially new music software. I'm also a member of the JV-1080 mailinglist which have provided a lot of valuable information. For the group it's less important since the only ones connected, as far as I know, are me and Robotnik. Check out my homepage with 23 mods or so on it at: http://www.ts.umu.se/dave or e-mail me at "dave@ts.umu.se". Other things that Internet means to me are wasted time, slow connections and hype.

\3I know musicians find it very interesting to know other musicians equipment, just like big strong men discussing cars. What is yours?

\2- A Pentium 120 with 16MB of RAM, Gravis Ultrasound, Roland JV-1080, Korg M3R, Roland D-50, Mackie 1202 and Technics amplifier stuff...

\3Is there any of this you prefer above the rest except for the computer and the amplifier stuff?

\2- The JV-1080 is definitely my strongest source for sounds. It's just so flexible, powerful and funny to play with! I could definitely use a real sampler but can't afford that. Have to work with the usual fuzz blending soundcard samples with MIDI-commands...

\3Do you still listen to your old scene favourites?

\2- I used to listen to other Amiga musicians' works a lot. There was a time when I listened more to modules than to my CD:s.

\3Do you still got any modules?

\2- I've kept some of the modules I gathered during my most active time - but far from all. Somehow I think that 90% of all the modules I came over are nothing but crap. Perhaps tolerable when watching a demo by the-cool-group, but in the end they were basically a waste of time and not much to remember.
