A sad fact is that you actually sold your Amiga and left the scene two years ago. Why?

\2- The reasons were many but mostly because I was feeling that the four channels tended to be more limiting than challenging. Switching to PC would provide me with the wanted specifications and also allow me to use the better sequencing software for my synths (Bars & Pipes is not that fancy). I was also getting less interested in the scene all in all as I focused on other things during my time in the army. I lost contact with all my musician-pals in the scene and suddenly the scene was not as appealing to me as it used to be.

\3You contributed with a song for RAW #9 and a small and old tune was also used in a C-Lous intro for The Gathering this year. Does this mean you are doing a serious comeback?

\2- Everybody denies their comebacks. I don't. I've taken up contact with a few old friends like Groo, Ukulele and Pride and yesterday I started looking through all the mail I've received the last year (and not answered). To those who wrote I'd like to say that I'm terribly sorry and I feel a little guilty. At times I log on to the IRC scene-channel and I've found out that there is still life to be found!

\3Your answer is YES, then?

\2No, not really. Hehe...

\3When did your scene career start at the very beginning?

\2- My interest in the scene took off in 1990 when I, along with my friend and his cousin, formed "Andylon", an enthusiastic kid-group. I was forced to make music as nobody else knew how to play. After two years of experimenting with Protracker I eventually got accepted in Anarchy (with the handle Dexter /ed. rem.), which at that time topped the Eurochart. I later left for Shining were there as usual were more plans than results - a few intros with Corny and Codeman under the co.co.arts label. Well. I went to Rednex and shortly after that Movement - and that's where I am now, I think!

\3Then, if I'm not too mistaken, you were only 16 when you joined Anarchy.

\2- Correct.

\3Did this affect you in any negative way, I mean, that you were this young? Or did the talent of yours play the major role?

\2- Hmm...hard to answer. I joined Anarchy because many of my local friends already were in the group. I just got stuck with them, so to speak, but I have never really cared too much about which group I have been in if they just were nice people and of course had some talent, I guess.

\3Today, you use a PC and more synths when composing. What is your music like nowadays?

\2- It's not as poppy as it used to be - and even during 93/94 I wasn't too poppy either, I think. Speaking of theory (and dull things), I'm perhaps thinking more about structure then I used too. The melodies are fewer and simpler - yet better. I use a lot more channels and my overall sense for arranging has grown. I have spent time programming my synths and learning about mixing and stuff like that. At times I torture myself with musics theory to achieve more speed and freedom when composing.
