The name of the group - which is kind of odd - has it's roots in humour. Nude used to swap and during this time, he and his friends competed in who were able to come up with the funniest diskname and somehow the name "Three Little Elks" appeared. Nude thought that "Three Little Elks" was a nice name for a demo group and on that way it is.
Now I was once again alone with Ant. He told me about a coder called Hex who is a 3LE member, but not a very active one. It seems like Hex was a big inspiration source for Tabasco and Explorer in the beginning of their careers. Nowadays Hex is very busy with his school activities. According to Ant, he is a mathematics genius. At school he got a chance to compete in a physics competition plus a mathematics competition. He made it to the finals in both competitions, but he was only allowed to take part in one of them. He chose the physics competiton in India.
