³ÝÛÛÛÛ introduction ÛÛÛÛÞ³
for the very first time Pool Position is about to be arranged. the
main reason for Pool Position is that we the organizers want to arrange a
true scene event - like the old times. a party with nice scene people who
gather for a nice weekend of good releases. the swedish scene is not what
it used to be so get your stuff down here and feel the true old scene
spirit. let's make the swedish scene alive and kicking.
³ÝÛÛÛÛ where, when and how? ÛÛÛÛÞ³
Pool Position will be held in Stenungsund during 5 to 7 of September
at Nsns Gymnasium. Stenungsund is situated at the swedish westcoast
about four miles north of Gothenburg - the second largest town i Sweden.
the doors will open eight 'o clock on friday and close twelve 'o clock
on sunday.
it's very easy to get to the party place. either you travell by car,
bus or train there are exellent communications and you will reach the
party place fast 'n easy.
if you travell by car:
take the motorway E6 and get out at the exit 'Stenungsund'. then
follow the signs towards 'Nsns'. check out the official Pool
Position homepage for a map if needed.
if you travell by bus:
from Gothenburg you take the 'GL EXPRESS RD' from the central
station. buses depart every 30 minute. it takes approximatley
40 minutes to travell by bus to Stenungsund. at Steungsund central
station our own party express will pick you up for a three minute
ride to the party place. leave a note at info@pool-position.pp.se if
you want to be picked up by our party express.
if you travell by train:
from Gothenburg you take the 'BOHUSTGET' from the central station
towards Strmstad. trains depart every 30 minute. it takes
approximatley 30 minutes to travell by train to Stenungsund. at
Steungsund central station our own party express will pick you up for a three minute
ride to the party place. leave a note at info@pool-position.pp.se if
you want to be picked up by our party express.
³ÝÛÛÛÛ entrance fee ÛÛÛÛÞ³
the entrance fee will be 180sek(25us$) if you pay at the partyplace.
if you pay in advance the entrance fee will only be 150sek(20us$). as
we don't can fix this service for foreigners you will get in for
150sek(20u$). as always girls don't have to pay any entrance fee.
soo... bring your beauty. the entrance fee includes free tables,
electricy etc.

general rules for all competitions:
ù every group is free to contribute with as many productions as
they want as long as one from the group is present at the party
place.
ù entries must not have been released before on another party
ù all entries must be delivered in time for the deadline at the
information desk. this is very important if we want to have
enough time to process every contribution and notice you if your
production doesn't work with our equipment. there will be a ten
minute countdown in the aula before the deadline in every
competition.
ù all contribution disks which we get from you must include:
- which competition
- title of the contribution
- competitor name/group
- special boot config(if needed)
ù the organisers have the rights to cancel a competition if there
isn't enough contributions.
ù the organizers reserve the right to make changes to the
competitions rules and to disqualify any entry which is not
suitable to take part into the competition for any reasons.

all the money from the entrance fees after that we have removed our
costs will be given back in competition prices. this is a non profit
party. parties are for the people who attend them not for those who
organize them. all organizers are sceners and know all this by heart.
competition prices will be in cash and/or additional hardware.
competition prices will be given at the price ceremony.

we will have a band playing LIVE! for us at saturday night! they are
called K1 and they play front242 like music. be sure to not miss this.
