Platoon was founded in January 1996 by Carp, but started to be active
on the scene in January 1997. At the very beginning Platoon's members
were: Carp - coder, Frog - graphician and Swan - musician. Our first
demo was called "Vacuum" and was presented on Proba Generalna III in
Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski. In May'97 Atom joined as a swapper and he
became an organizer. In July'97 we pesented our second demo - "Fuss"
and some other stuff. (on Intel Outside 4). Gravity'97 wasn't great for
us, because we didn't demonstrate anything. In August'97 Popcorn joined
as musician and Mat joined as graphician. In October'97 Pinias joined
as a raytracer. In December'97 Fustic joined as a coder and in the same
day(!) Popcorn left Platoon... In January'97 we released "Swan Music
Disk" and in the same month Frog left us. In May'98 Cousman (musician
from Germany) joned us, so we have a German section now! :))) In
Juni'98 graphician - Pancho left his previous group - Korozone and
joined Platoon. In few weeks Cousman changed his nickname to Marquis.
In July'98 2/3 of our Gorzow's section (Carp and Mat) left the scene
and that was a hard time for us. In the September'98 Immortal
(musician) and MirekCz (coder) joined us.
