be sure to set `export MM_FRAGSIZE=8' when you use the OSS drivers.
all other drivers will probably be even worse.
please run on a target that supports vertical retrace syncing. the
svgalib target is great. ibm vga 320x200x256 should be supported on
your card. if you want to run things from X11 in non 8bpp modes, then
issue an `export GGI_DISPLAY=palemu' to make it work. svgalib is
better though, nothing beats the 70fps feeling. (hopefully we'll see
kgi targets supporting vertical retrace syncing soon)
