Welcome to the last party of the millennium.
For the 9th time in a row you are invited to experience
the latest and greatest in computer generated music, graphics and demo's.
The end of the millennium - it demands something extrodinary, and that's exactly
what we have in store for you.
The fastest network ever, the best equipment for showing your productions,
the best internet connection ever, and more conferences.
And that is not even all of the goodies we have in store for you,
but hey - it's no fun if there no surprises!
So get your gear together, grab something that resembles a sleeping
bag and head out for Aars, it's party time. Need we say more...
The Party 1999 will be held in Messecenter Aars, like last year.
The doors will officially open at the 27th of December at 08:00 CET and
closed again on the 29th of December at 15:00 CET. It's also possible to arrive on
the 26th of December, movement, network and sleeping limitations may apply.
Presale tickets from Arte / Global Tickets / Billetnet can be purchased for DKK 350,-
At the door it's DKK 400,- Also an Additional DKK 50,- will be added for
guests arriving on the 26th of December.
We have a lot of great facilities for you this year, this is a few of them:

If you want to take part in a competition you must be present at The
Party during the presentation and prize ceremony
If too many contributions are delivered for a competition a jury will
select contributions for presentation
Contributions can only participate in one competition
We will copy and spread all contributions
Contributions must be final, no bug-fixes will be accepted before or
after presentation
Contributions must be uploaded via network, or handed over in the information
on floppies or CD's (ISO9660, 8+3 only) along with a paper sheet providing
information about Title, Handle, Group, Compo, Hardware requirements
and execution instructions
Compo disks, CD's and video tapes will not be returned
All entries for Amiga can be compressed with either LZX or LHA
All entries for PC must be compressed with ZIP, and ready for distribution
No self-extracting archives will be allowed
No other archive-types is allowed
Contributions with racial content (incl. anti-racial), and other
radical content will not be accepted
Contributions must be virus free and Y2K compliant

We will not accept anybody selling anything without prior written permission
Alcohol and drugs are not allowed at The Party. If we find any,
it will be confiscated and NOT given back
Intoxicated people will be thrown out or handed over to the police
We will not accept any kind of weapons, spraycans and fireworks
People who cause damages of any kind, will ofcourse have to pay for it.
Further damage may be covered by reducing prizes
We take no responsibility for illegal swapping of software, hardware, video etc.
This is not a copy party, it's a demo party!
We will not accept and form of child pornography. If we find it, equipment will
be confiscated and the responsible will be reported and handed over to the police
