| ok.. so here's my two cents for adamm, massage and all of you who |
| love good scene music .. all the tracks have been dug out from my |
| personal module archives, some are quite old but that doesn't mean |
| they would have lost their value .. i've decided to steadily |
| concentrate on my homeground - deep, melancholic, atmospheric, |
| breakbeat-based music. the styles and techniques you're gonna be |
| listening to are holding the deepest places inside my heart. |
| |
| so these are all very much my favourites - tried to be versatile |
| but not compromise too much to make this set of tracks stand on |
| its own feet as a whole, too. of course 8 pieces is only so much |
| to show.. i recommend you to get it all, go get modplug player |
| (http://www.modplug.com), make a playlist and live this music. |

| starting out with this postmodern piece which probably remains |
| quite unknown to most.. pure deep darkness, sucking you in and |
| making the light go away for five minutes.. a slow hiphop beat |
| combined to sax and jazz cuts, wonderful. i very much admire |
| people who are able to push great amounts of feeling or "soul" |
| into their tracks, no matter if it was for happy or dark. |

| a powerful cycle of loops, this. if i were to look for similar |
| music, the first one to come in mind would be dj krush. if you |
| like krush, you just gotta like this. a steady hiphop beat |
| moving it onward while the looped atmosphere keeps developing. |

| monotony - simple effective twostep-beat, deep bassline and a |
| dark variety of atmospheric sounds carpeting it all. a very |
| tasty cut all in all. |

| ripping it out with razor-sharp beats, spacy pads adding depth |
| to the track. there's not really much words i find to describe |
| this piece - listening to it just gives me this beautiful cold |
| deep feeling, try and feel it for yourselves. and look at the |
| size of the track! |

| twee's drumming some futuristic beats here again, this one is |
| definitely a classic on the modulescene when it comes to |
| techstep drum and bass. too bad it's so short but the track is |
| still amongst the ones you should not miss. |

| on to more melodic vibes.. this is one of the last module |
| releases mono 211 did. the track successfully combines deep |
| beautiful melodic sequences to hectic breakbeat action, |
| creating a fresh atmosphere. the crystal clear samples (even |
| as 8-bit!) also help out a lot. |

| job from one of the founding fathers of the dnb module-scene.. |
| i'll never forget the league of kaos. :) the track is based on |
| a very simple concept and structure and it truly works out |
| very well.. i wish more people on the tracker scene would |
| realize this - there's no need to add up all the elements in |
| the world to your track, at least not until you're sure you |
| can control it all as a whole (yeah, been there, done that:)). |
| it's better to start small! |

| you already know this pearl but let me lift it up once again |
| in all of it's superiority.. there's so much feeling and depth |
| to this joint.. weird yet wonderful vibraphone melodies and |
| the unusual beat creating the base for it all. the track is |
| perfect for closing your eyes for a moment and thinking back |
| to all the good moments and good music we've had with the |
| modulescene.. yea, peace out people and raise the vibe. |
