It is succesfully tested on the folowing Operating Systems with a
Voodoo Rush Card (California Graphics Emotion 3D) :
- Windows 95
- Known Bugs and
Missing features : - Currently no preferences screen due to pressing time limit of the
contest.
- No optimizations in the code.
- Not yet the bump-mapped comet that I had in mind for the screen-saver
- Note : Full source-code is included (Windows Glide 2.3+) written with Watcom 11.
To install: simply rightclick on the 'save3dfx.scr' file and select 'Install' from the popup-window.
This was the first time I wrote something in Glide. I've got a lot of experiance though in
programming DirectX Retained Mode, but I saw no chalenge in that. So I decided to learn Glide
myself and as it turns out ... this may as well be a nice windows/3dfx syncing tutorial-application
for you.
The code is Freeware ... but if you make any changes to it or thought it was helpfull, let me
know. Many always outwit the minority.
Have fun,
Ron
