----------------------> how to get there

Distance is this time held at Eikeli vgs,
which is located at Bispeveien 10 in
Bærum, just outside Oslo. It's very easy
to get to the hall, several trains and
buses stop almost outside the door. The
easiest way to get to the hall is to take
subway line 2 towards Østerås and get off
at Østerås station. The way to the party
              place is marked from there.

              By car

From south (coming in to Oslo from E-18 Drammen)

Follow E-18 until you see a sign
that says "lysaker / fornebu". Drive
off the road (use the intersection,
for gods sake), then follow the
signs to "Jar" Follow the road a few
                   kilometers, you're supposed to cross
two bridges. When you've crossed the
last bridge, take left then right
again. Now just follow the road for
a few kilometers, you're supposed to
pass a Shell-station on your left
hand. When you've passed that one,
you're getting close. Now look for
                   "Eikeli Videregående Skole" on your
right hand, a large brown building.
Take right and follow the road
                   called "Bispeveien", and then turn
left again. You're now at Distance :]

From north or east (coming to Oslo following E-6)

Drive till you reach Oslo (Capitol
                   of Norway, remember?). Then follow
road called E-6 until you see the
                   signs leading to "Drammen" (E-18).
You're supposed to drive through the
center of Oslo and continue west.
Drive until you see a sign leading
to "Jar" on your right hand. Follow
the road a few kilometers, you're
supposed to cross two bridges. When
you've crossed the last bridge, take
left then right again. Now just
follow the road for a few
                   kilometers, you're supposed to pass
a Shell-station on your left hand.
When you've passed that one, you're
getting close. Now look for "Eikeli
                   Videregående Skole" on your right
hand, a large brown building. Take
right and follow the road called
                   "Bispeveien", and then turn left
again. You're now at Distance :]

              By train
Travel by train to Oslo S, then take
the subway line 2 towards Østerås
from Oslo S and get of at Østerås
station. The way to the party place
                   is marked from there.

              By plane
Travel by plane to Oslo, then take
the airport bus to Oslo S and follow
the directions for train from there.

              Bustrips
If you are arranging a bustrip to
Distance, and would like to be on
this list, please send a mail to

                   some freebies involved. :)

----------------------> compos

              a few selected words

This is what distance is really
                   about; demoscene compos. Listed
below are the compos, and we're
serving hard cash prices to the
                   winners in the major compos. [note;
the money-prices may depend on the
number of party attendants and party
income] If you wish to attend one or
more of these compos, you must have

of entries, a jury will make a
                   selection. [especially multichannel
                   and 4 channel if nessesary]
