                                STARR
                                -----

                         Proudly Presents...
                        Starr Utility Disk 3!
                        ---------------------

Starr members: Jamie Starr, Devious Doze and Lord Spook!

Starr greets: Nomad Alliance, Amiga Professional Organization,
Killer Pigeon, Spike, Alcatraz, Griffin, Chaka Lalani,
and all other Starr node Sysops and Co-Sysops!

Personal Greets: Lord Helios, Dr. Etc, Riddler, Dr. Hen (yes, he's back!),
Odin, Merlin the Mysterious, Maverick and others!

NOTE!!! In case you haven't recognized the set-up, it's done by Spook
previously of WSI! WSI is now a part of Starr, and will continue to do
whatever it did previously with the much better group Starr!

                        STARR UTILITIES DISK 3
                        ----------------------

                              Files List

ABC-Crunch]})>=- A fairly good command operated executeable cruncher, written
                by guess who!

AmiModem 1.0]})>=- An extremely useful program to set the NRAMs in your
HST modem properly! This supposedly allows you to
maximize your transfer rates. Use this version for the
                older chip set!

AmiModem 2.1]})>=- Same as above, but I think this is used for the new
                  NRAMs in your modem!

AudioMaster II]})>=- Similar to PerfectSound, only better. Allows editing
of the actual waveforms in 8SVX-IFF, RAW and other
sound files! Very useful for digitizing.

AZPlus 1.1]})>=- This is the 16 colour version of AZComm, supposedly one of
the fastest terminal programs availible in terms of CPS
(transfer rates). Use it in conjunction with the proper
              version of AmiModem!

Colour Fonts]})>=- Allows use of colour text (use this with ProWrite 2.5!)

Ed Phone Dir]})>=- Use this to edit your telephone directory for AZComm.
                  Just follow the format shown!

Ed Macros]})>=- Use this to edit your function key macros for AZComm.
               Just follow the format shown!

GMC-Track Convert 2.0]})>=- This lets you take any G.M.C. songs and
convert them to the SoundTracker standard
                          of song files.

Hunkwizard 1.2]})>=- Actual use of this program requires knowledge of basic
CLI. Just use your Workbench or Shell or whatever to
run it. Use of this program gives you useful info
about the hunk structure of any program, and decrunches
it and saves it as RAM:A.OUT.

Imploder 1.0]})>=- A good, nice looking executeable cruncher by Discovery
Software Inc. Very powerful, but supports fewer hunks
than PowerPacker or the other command driven crunchers!

PLST Creator]})>=- A PLST creator, what else! On your SoundTrackers, they
require that you have a list of instrument disks and
their respective instruments, and this program will allow
you to create and edit such a list.

ProWrite 2.5]})>=- A good, fast word processor, with a powerful dictionary,
and which allows addition of graphics.

RattleCopy]})>=- RattleCopy is a boot loading copier, so hitting the function
key will actually only install it onto the destination disk
and then you should reboot and load! I think it requires a
meg to run, and it will auto-detect destination and source
disks if they are un-protected or write protected respectively!

RSI-Crunch]})>=- Another command driven executeable cruncher.

Sound-FX Catcher]})>=- I think this is used to rip instruments out of
                      Sound-FX standard song files.

SoundTracker DOC v9.0]})>=- The Ultimate SoundTracker! The latest so far
by DOC. Allows you to create self running song
files using IFF sounds as instruments!

SuperCruncher]})>=- Yes, another command driven executeable cruncher.

TimeCruncher]})>=- Ok, you guessed it.

TNM-Cruncher]})>=- Don't ask!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note!!! On the last Utilities Disk, the Pseudo-Ops Virus Killer would not run
due to the fact that the reboot program used cleaned the memory of all resident
programs. When it says to remove disk from DF0: and click mouse button, do NOT
click the mouse button! Remove the disk and warm reboot! Sorry about that!!!
