                          -----------------

This demo was made for one simple reason:

Fred Fish, the maker of the world famous FISH Series, is about to
quit the Library...

At the end of this demo the original text from Fred, which he posted
on Internet, will be shown... Its not too late, so Pleasure started
a quick -Do not stop- movement to get him continuing his work for the
whole Amiga scene...

Where do YOU look at, if you need a tool ?

Where do YOU always get the latest version of it ?

Where is the only possibility to get some cool tools ?

If you make a tool, to whom do YOU send it to spread it worldwide ??

The answer is simply FRED FISH and his Library !!

Everyone has (or had) at least one of his LibraryDisks in his
diskboxes, everyone uses the opportunity of a great variety of
software month by month.

We don't want him to quit and thats why we made this small
production...

                             How can I?

Write your name or pseudo on a postcard and send it to me (Fashion
Design-Pleasure), telling, that Fred should continue his Series...
Get all your members to write on the postcard, so that we can get
lots of signs and he will know that many guys out there want him to
stay !!!

Its one postcard per group for a person, who really made the Amiga
look like, what it is today, a wonderful machine with a huge variety
of possibilities.

                           When should I?

As soon as possible, but that will be clear, after reading the
original letter, shown afterwards...

                            Why should I?

Well, I don't have to explain this ...

Where should I send the postcard(s)?

To all packmakers, spreaders, sysops etc...

Please put this demo on your board or pack and spread it around like
hell... It would be nice, if this demo can stay at least a week on
every board, where it is uploaded.

I know, most boards want only 0-1 days old wares, but please leave it
there (add the uploading date on the file name !!)

A special note to all packers :

If you have already put this demo into your collection, why not copy
it onto your further packs, if there is enough space left ?? No, not
using a path in your menu, just put it onto that disk and tell your
contacts to look at the directory !!!!

And please, fellows :

Dont change the filename, just because it attracts more people on its
original name !!

                           C R E D I T S !
                           ---------------

The Original Posting of Fred Fish
                  ---------------------------------

Over the last couple of years, I've noticed a trend where fewer and
fewer people are on my direct subscriber list. This last year has
seen a particularly sharp decrease, from about an average of 75
subscribers to the current low of 41. That's right, there are only
41 people or organizations in the whole world that receive disks
directly from me as of Jan 17, 1993, with about half of them being
outside the United States.

During this last year, the amount of time I have had available to
spend constructing disks, doing accounting, and otherwise managing
the library has also dropped sharply, so that more than ever I depend
upon using outside help for things like presorting the submitted
material, creating prototype disks which I then use for constructing
the final disks, and doing the actual duplication, packaging, and
shipping of the disks. I cannot expect these people to work for
nothing, so I have been paying them reasonable compensation for their
time out of the ever dwindling subscription income. It has reached
the point where sometime in the next month or two I will make a
decision about whether or not to shut down the library, since if
there are insufficient incoming funds to meet the operating costs as
well as pay for an occasional perk like a trip to an Amiga show once
or twice a year, or some new hardware toy, there is little incentive
to continue spending 20-30 hours a month running it.

If you are in a position to influence a club, computer store, or
other Amiga related organization to maintain a direct subscription
for new disks, and thus help fund continued maintenance of the
library, and are interested in seeing the library continue to grow,
I'd urge you to consider doing what you can to help push the number
of direct subscribers back up to more reasonable levels. Thanks.

-Fred
