pete proudly presents spiv My first attempt at a euro style demo! credits... coding and objects by pete covert Music by ????? this demo was developed under 2.04 on an amiga 3000. i have no idea what it looks like on any other cpu, so itprobably looks crappy on a 68000! i have noticed that it is a lot jerkier when run under 1.3, I have no idea why.The star field was borrowed from Leo Schwabs hack, ES. I believe he borrowed it from Violator by Absence. A well traveled starfield!Thanx to redlance for sending it to me! If you are a serious assembly or C programmer, interested in swapping code, you cancontact me at Pete Covert 907 canyon avenue Cody Wy 82414. My current email address is pdc2312 at silver.sdsmt.edu. no at sign in this font! This address is good until 7.93. Technical data... on a 25 mhz 030, this demo runs realclose to 60 fps i believe. It does everything in one frame. At its most complicated object, close to 10,000 xyz coordinates are being calculated persecond. Note that it does multi-task quite nicely... my short but sweet greets go to... Redlance, rifleman, burt, jim, ben, mf, mark, mike, nemo, sargon, and to all amiga enthusiasts! release date 7.26.92. rereleased on 3.22.93, with minor bug fixes. Message will repete!
