Chapter 1 - The Future Sound?<
<Pop, Rock, Punk, Trance,
Rave, House, Techno, Soul,
Ambient, Experimental,
Grunge, Rap, Hiphop, Ethno,
Synthi, Classic, Dance,
Jazz, Blues and all the
other styles of music show
the large variety of human
nature and behaviour.
Our musical taste can
express our soul and feelings.
The youth is hardly connected
to their favourite music.
Every style has it's own
fashion. And to be honest,
the raving style of our
technoage is the sexiest
and extroverted one of them
all. Never in the musical
history have girls been
more free to show what ever
they want to. But not only
the fashion is influenced
by techno. The influences
can be found in most topics
of todays life. And so we
decided to start our serie
of chiptunes with some raving
chippies. We hope you enjoy the
first chapter of our chiptuned journey through
the musical world and history.
Let's see which maestrological
styles we'll receive for the
next chapter. Every guest-musicians
that want to release their chippies
in this compilation are very
welcome. And if you're a lonely
chipmusician searching for a group,
just drop RAVEN of NUANCE some
lines and send some examples.
That's it for this time.<

@Ichi:
Some chippie Information:<
<'trilobyte', the soundtrack of this
chip-collection was invented and
perfected by our beloved ex.member
'QUARK'. It is 24266 Byte long and
was chosen, because of it's perfect
timing for the very easy introduction
sequence of this production. This
module isn't really a chiptune, but
it just perfectly fit in the style we
wanted to design this piece.<
<'Ponk!' was arranged by X-POOLE,
our mainmusician and it needs
exactly 10000 Bytes in your memory.
It contains 12 Pattern and has a
overall playtime of 53 seconds.
Just feel the beat and enjoy the
catching melody !<
<'Hectique' was composed by our
master of sonics 'X-POOLE' and
has a playtime of about 41 seconds
only. It only has a lenght of
7834 Bytes and 8 patterns, but
the loop was set quite good so
that you won't feel the end of
this tune.<
<'Into deep' by 'X-POOLE' needs
9966 Bytes and features 16 patterns
of psychedelic chiptechnology.
This deep experience will entertain
you for about 1 minute and the
chainy melody will be burned into
your mind.<
<'Kill cars' is also arranged by
'QUARK' and features 19770 Bytes
including 22 patterns of technological
entertainment. You'll be captured
for about 2:20 minutes and I've to
say that this piece of chipmusic is
my favourite one in this Chapter,
because of the quite cool beat and
melody.<
<'Chip-Core' has a size of 17880
Bytes and is about 1:29 minutes
and 14 patterns long. It was
done by 'QUARK' and was finished
back in 1992. It was originally
composed for the first issue
of our 'vagina packtoris'-packserie
that faded away, when the producing
swapper left us for Essence.<
<'Caution!' is 29410 Bytes long and
it might not be exactly what you
would call a chiptune, but the
style and the instruments of the
tune fitted very good in this
chapter of Trilobyte. It plays
over 6 pattern and entertains you
for about 47 second !! Enjoy...<

The Birthday Page !<
<Believe it or not, NUANCE is celebrating his 4th birthday on the 11.11.1995
at the Computer'95 !!!<
<Back in 1991 on the 11th of November, some unknown Amiga-Users met
for a small convention at LOMEX's place. The convention lasted four
days and three nights and after this meeting, a bunch of enthusiastic
people have decided to start their own scene-group called "NUANCE".
The founding members were PROFESSOR (now KILL'O'BYTE), ABSTRACT (now RAVEN),
FMD'91 (just a lamer out of scene now), ICE MC (now CHRIS/SARDONYX),
TEX (out of scene) and LOMEX (infected by IntelInside!).<
<And on the 16.11.1995 it happened: The first NUANCE-Intro saw the light !<
<Some more productions followed and their first Trackmo 'Subtle Shades'
won the second place at the 680xx-Sanity- Complex-Convention.<
<Now it's 1995 and we're still in business and ready to stay for another
long time !!! Only the best survived : RAVEN and KILL'O'BYTE (the
founding members) and their new wizard of sonics called X-POOLE !!!<
